I always go with Tyra's # 1. Rule ( America next top Model).....1. To Audition, It shouldn't cost and no one or any one that cast you, me or him in anything.....should next us to pay for any thing other then our own personal stuff, you feel me though. Example, If I ever cast; crossing my fingers....I will never pay to get cast or should I have to. If it smells like a rotten apple, it usualy is; even though sometimes it doesn't look like it.! Good luck people and stay on your toes!

Wow. Thank goodness my wife and daughter were on the ball because I got an email from a DARREN HUGHES at HNE REALITY saying the same as all the other people here.  I had applied for BB Canada about 5 weeks ago and he said I had made it to the short list but needed to pay $350. I was in shock yet excited.  He was trying to push it fast saying that he needed the money right away because casting directors were waiting for my profile.  OMG.  What a jerk.. I am not a dumb man, yet he sounded so professional and just about got the money out of me !!!!  I can't believe he almost had me pay right away. Thank goodness there is google now where a person can almost check on anyone.  I hope everyone goes with their gut iinstinct and not pay people that you dont know one penny !  Thanks for all this info on HNE REALITY.  SCAMMMMMMMMM ARTISTS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>  Andrew

BUT..... I still would like to know how a TV show allowed private information to leek to scam artists out there?  Or did they actually sell my application to them for a percentage of the money that the scam artist would receive?   That doesnt say much about them. I'm not impressed at all.

Hi, please know that if you are cast in a film, reality show, commercial, print ad, etc., you pay NOBODY.  They pay YOU no matter what!  If they're really legit and pros they'll throw in airfare, hotel accommodations, limo for hotel/studio, hotel/airport,  meals, and some give the actors/contestants an amount of spending money, or money b/c you agree to work for them. I first learned about this when my son was 6 months old and I tried to get him in some modeling work. He was too cute. There were 2 places I sent money to in order for my son to be in a talent agency. I was scammed. Not once but twice. The 2nd place said that they were the ones to "discover" Patrick Dempsey. Back in the late 80's, that was plausible.  I wish you luck.
