These guys are selling some sort of lower interest rate on credit cards, supposedly. I asked to them take my name off the list and they said why? Then when I asked again, he said "do you know what this call is about?" I repeated my request for them to take my name off. They kept asking questions, and I asked to speake toa supervisor.Then he said "I am the supervisor" and I said "no, you have a supervisor and I want them totalk to them".
So, failing that, I went on about a 5 min battle with them with my siren. He finally said "this call is costing you $10 per minute".
Don't know, but I hung up.

I got a call from this number but its the same message I get all the time from all over the country and now Canada. Wanting to lower my credit card interest rate. I am on the Do Not Call List for this number and I pressed ( to tell them so and ask them not to call again. The man got real ugly with me and said He checked and I was not on the Do Not Call List and called me a liar. I told him that I was going to report him for the harassing call and he said I couldn't do him anything. He would not give me the name of the company or any other information.  I need help to find out what the name of the company is so I can take further action about the harassing calls I keep getting. Here is another couple of numbers with the same recorded message:  407-514-6917 from Orlando, FL and 540-351-2874 from Warrenton, VA. In two days I received 5 calls from the 504-351-2874 number.  I am tired of the calls (over 25 in the last 2 months between my house and my cell.) I am ready to see what kind of legal action I can take to stop these calls.

I got the call but did not reach it in time. Number was very odd so I came here to see if it was one of those calls and it is! Save myself alot of trouble. Thanks, I know not to pick it up again if it happens. If it would happen I will tell them I have a special tracer on my phone and will see what he does or says. I have a friend who does not pick up the phone unless it is a number she is familiar with and her reasoning is they can always leave a message.

Received the call at 9:05 a.m. this morning, did not answer; never answer calls from unrecognizable numbers; no location or any kind of ID on my caller ID; called the number back but got the message "your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and try again".  Will report to FCC.

They called me today to lower my credit card rates and when I said I wanted off their list I told them to take my number off their list.  I wasn't giving them any of my information and they said they were cancelling my credit card and debit cards.  

This is out of hand.  Third call I have had in 3 days.  2nd one today.

I got a call yesterday from this same number.  Guy said he could lower my credit card interest rate, I asked which credit card and he said the one I have.  I then told him that I really needed more information for the police because if they show I have a credit card then I need to report identity fraud because I do not have any credit cards.  He got very upset and told me there is no way people can live without a credit card.  I pushed for more information so I could notify the police and he hung up.

Got this call today on my cell phone. It was Rachel from Cardholder Services again. I hung up the call and added it to my block list. I haven't gotten on of these in a long time, hope they aren't starting up again.

Just got a call from (416) 000-0001 on my cell phone but didn't answer as I was on another call.  When I saw the number, it being odd, knew right away something was up and came right here to check it out.  I do not answer calls on numbers I don't recognize.  If they want to speak with you, they will leave a message.  

This may be Varoli Corporation. I have them blocked and this number called right after they tried to reach me and got a blocked message.  It is a phishing scam as all of the previous numbers reported.

Received a call on my cell phone yesterday at 9:25 am. I had my phone on "reject all calls", as I receive these type of calls a lot. When I tried to call the number back, I received the message, "You're call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and try again". I'm on the DO NO CALL LIST. What a joke! It obviously doesn't matter if you're on it or not. When is somebody going to start taking responsibility for all these "annoying" calls that nobody wants to get in the first place? It's pretty sad when you have to keep your own cell phone on "reject all calls" because of idiots like this!

Just got the call, answered just for the heck of it, when they started asking about my interest on my credit card I told I didn't use credit cards and the guy said everybody does and I said I'm not everybody....kiss my "grits" and hung up. They are now on my reject list. Merry Christmas everyone, be safe and God Bless.

I just received a call on my cell phone from this number. It was in reference to lowering my credit card interest. I dont have one. Why can't anything be done about these calls. I get 2-3 each week.

Just got a call from this 4160000001 number on my cell phone but didn't answer it but searched it which led me to here.  No message was left and I do not answer unrecognized numbers.

9:40 a.m. received call from this number on my cell phone, did not answer, punched "DECLINE", then called number back on my office land line.  'WE'RE SORRY, YOUR CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED.  PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER AND DIAL AGAIN OR CALL THE OPERATOR TO HELP YOU.  WE'RE SORRY, ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY.  WILL YOU PLEASE TRY YOUR CALL AGAIN LATER?" was the voice message I got.  Then busy signal.  I never answer these type calls.  If I'm at work I'll call back on the office land line.  These people are like roaches, termites or other vermin that keep procreating no matter what prohibitive measures are taken.

They called me too, but like many of you I do not answer if I do not know the number.  If they really need to talk to me they will leave a message.  On another phone I used to have when they would call I would tell them I want to lower their credit card I am in the same business, and startasking them the same questions non-stop.  They got mad and hung up. :)

I do not pick up unknown numbers, especially as the prefix is all 000. They have been calling at least once a day for the past three days. I have finally put them on my reject list on my smart phone
