I did not answer, as it appeared to be a telemarketer. There is a company calling everyone with a cell phone to "report" that the warranty on their car may be coming to an end and would they like to extend it? It's a scam, I'm sure.

Called me during my holiday while hiking. I asked, if this is a business call, can we stop and do it later, 'cause I am on holiday. She did not clearly tell me who she was or what was her final intensions. She insisted kinda "Sir, please answer my questions". So I shouted "no, I won't" and hung up. I guess it's a telemarketer.

I received a call that I was suppose to give Cameroon Pet transportation information about where I live and that I need to go to a Western Union to send them money ($400).  This is a scam and do not fall for it.  The puppy that I wanted was free, all I had to do was pay the shipping. Everytime they called it was a foreigner and was not a natural english speaking person.  I asked over and over to speak to someone else and all he kept saying was mam mam please and just kept on how I needed to send them money.

I had the same problem, so I looked up the number here. The person said he was calling on behalf of a girl I was getting a lovebird from. I am only suppose to pay transportation. It seems to good to be true so I believe it is a scam; because, now I know the number has done this a few times.
    • Caller: A "friend" of the lovebird owner

This call came in at roughly 4am EST.    Two Arab sounding guys (I know, I used to live in the Middle East). They said they were calling from Ethiopia.    I told them I was a police officer at some point and they hung up. I figure this was going to be something about holding their money and my getting to keep half if I'd just give them my bank info or something.    These guys sounded like amatuer crooks, though.
