416-000-2176

Called my cell phone this afternoon.  Recorded message saying some garbage about my "car warranty".  I don't have a warranty on my car.  Said to be removed from call list to push 2.  We'll see if that actually works.  This is the fourth time this week I've received a call from a 416-000 number.  The last four digits are different every time.

I have been gettin this same call for months now first it started at my house and then i moved got a new number and now it's callin my cell phone sayin that my car warranty is goin to expire i just keep hangin up but it keeps calling.

This is a scam.  It is listed on the phonebusters police site and a message on their telephone as well.  I am getting the same calls at work and have investigated.

these are all on my cell now .. would love to get TELUS TO PAY FOR ALL THESE !! WHAT YOU THINK

how can we stop this i have a limited budget and i use a pay as you go phone and this number has called me 3 times a day i dont answer it as it would use up my minutes...but no one can help it is really bad and annoying.

Same issue as all other respondents above.
Our service provider has acknowledged there is an issue here in terms of how these idiots get our numbers, and indicated they are working to resolve it. Even if you "IGNORE" the call, depending on your plan, it can still cost you money. In our case our service provider has been good enough to provide "Goodwill" refunds to cover the costs so far.
