got the call from this number at 0938hrs. I didn't pick up as I didn't know the number. no voicemail left. My service provider is bell Canada.
I seem to be getting more and more of these stupid scam calls.

Don't answer this number!  When you see it come up - just press your end call button.  These types of calls are becoming painful.

2 calls today hours appart. I answered the second time to silence. I called the number back on my home phone and it says it is out of service.

I just got a call from this number too. I believe the same number left a recorded message about the car insurance warranty a week ago as well. Annoying as hell. Sucks how they get our cell numbers too now.

I have gotten a call from this number this morning at around 9:30 am... which is strange to be calling so early in the morning.. thanks for waking me up.. i haven't been  sleeping well lately! lol .. but i never picked up i just listened to my cell vibrate over and over again. They didn't leave a message though. I figured it was a scam. Also.. i was wondering how they got my cell number

Got a call from this number at 2:20 PM today.  When I saw the area code was 416 (long distance for me) I did not answer.  I have been getting daily calls from strange numbers for the past few weeks, first it was from the US (California), and now they are coming from Canada.  I haven't answered any of the long distance calls but I looked up the numbers on Google and found that all these numbers seem to be related to some kind of auto warranty scam.  Since I have a pay-as-you-go plan, it has gotten to the point that I cannot answer my phone unless I recognize the number, which is completely unacceptable !!
I don't know how these scammers got my number, but based on the number of comments from people on the 'net, I'm guessing that they either got into a cell phone database, or they are just dialing random numbers in the hope of getting hits.
I am calling Rogers and telling them about this scam which ends up potentially costing users.  Hopefully they can take action.  Anybody else with the same problem should contact their provider and let them know.  I think that with enough carriers taking action, these scammers will either be put out of business, or have legal action taken against them.

Got a call on the cell from 416-000-3146 just now, didn't answer. Got one this morning
on the land line as well. The phone companies should be blocking
these nuisance calls.

This number has been calling my cell all morning. I have call display so i know it's telemarketing and am not answering it. However at my business, home and now cell, I'm being swamped with spam, getting REALLY tired of it. I think if the phone companies want to allow it, they should pay part of our bills, especially cellular companies !

Ah - I even received some mail about this sort of thing after I bought my Toyota. I thought it was from Toyota but when I looked closely, realized that it was not from Toyota. Scam artists abound.

That's hilarious. If they're going to scam, they should at least have more than a room temperature IQ.

I wondered how they got my cell number as well. I think it was one of the Facebook applications that did it. I turned off the vibration on my cell phone and set it to ring once. The dialers at the other end would not let up - my phone would be vibrating for 3 minutes before the caller disconnected.

Got a call from this number twice within the same 10 minutes... around 2:00 this afternoon... Ridiculous

I got a call from 1-416-000-3146 today monday 16th february at 11:01 AM I did not answer the phone.I called the number using another phone and my call could not go thru.I is this a scam????

I got a call on my cell from this number twice today and when I answered both times, no one said anything. It's bad enough these telemarketers call my house line non-stop, but now my cell phone? Not happy with this at all.

got called this morning sometime at 10; by this number, while i was sleeping.. didn't bother to pick up "416 000 3146" , and not many people know my number, i recently got my phone.. hopefully.. they won't call again >_>

They called 3 cellphones in our house within one hour today on a Stat holiday!!! This is the 1st one from a 416 number usually these warranty calls come from the States...now they are invading Canada!!  Very irritating!

No message, but it seems this is from the same group that phoned me before regarding an expired car warranty. I was very angry, especially about them using my cell number and insisted they remove me from the list. They promised to do so, but clearly, have not

Same as some other people on here...if I answer, it's a recording telling me that I may be driving without a valid warranty on my vehicle.  I own my car 100%, not lease, and no warranty.  This has to be a scam.  Not sure how they got my # but it's really annoying.  So far they've called twice.
