Received a call on this number.   They left a vmail about driving without a warranty and press 1 to talk to someone about my "file".

Called just now -- looks like an automatic dialer

called at 11am on a monday
seems it just called everyone else
from M's note 5 min ago I'm led to believe it's that car warranty scam

once you press 1 they transfer you to collect your car insurance information to see if you are "eligible" for extended car insurance... They got your information by cross-referencing publically available info... seems to be some kind of scam

Got a call from 416-000-3146, fake numbers I'm sure. Left an empty message in my voice mail. From other users' notes here, looks like it's another scam to trick ppl pressing the key on their phone, so that they can get your authorization to charge you on your phone bill >:/

i just got a call from this number.. it was my area code so i didnt think it was gunna be a scam number since i been getting calls about the same thing from different states in the US strange.. definitely some sort of scam i hung up as soon as i heard the recorded voice

the just called a few minutes ago.. on my cellphone.   there are only a few people that have this number,,all family. whats the deal?

I have been getting calls from various "416" and "800" numbers. It's getting ridiculous.

Reading above about the auto insurance/warranty.ive been getting the calls at home as well.

I just got a call from 416-000-3146 this morning no message. I got a call from another number a few days ago about my warranty being up on my car. I hung up right away. It's BS be careful with these ppl. I gurantee it's some sort of scam.

I got a call from this number at 10:19am this morning as well, i didn't pick up and cannot seem to call back that number, i think it only has outgoing calls setup

Received call on my cell moments ago from 416 - 000 - 3146. I ignored call. (my cell # is new and only my fiancee has the #... he bought the cell for me)
I tried the 411.ca but the site is being updated at this time.

same here. just got 'the' call about my warranty. Isn't this form of automated dialing and voice prompts illegal in Canada?  !@#$%$#@ This kind of crap is getting more than annoying.

11:21 am - got this call. They've called my house before asking what kind of car I drive and my insurance company's name. I was like, "I don't have a car." Ridiculous.

just got a call on my cell from this number too. about 12:30 pm
rang 3 times, left no message. i've been getting a few calls from california area codes, as well as alot of people, over the past few weeks, but this is the first 416 area code i recieved.  I live in Hamilton, Ontario.

Called early this morning, left no message.  Very odd how they got my number, as only a very very few know my number.

Automated Dialer, no one on other end. My phone number is new and has not been given out to anyone yet my provider is Rogers. Other posters please add your provider so we can see who is BEng targeted or which companies in hard economic times are selling their lists....cough!

416-000-3146 on Feb 16 @ 11:03am in Toronto. Guess they're making use of knowing everyone's home for Family Day :)

Picked up the phone and played a Bell out of service message. When an auto dialer hears the tone, numbers are usually removed, so hopefully I'll never get a call from this number again.

They called me at 1:03 PM Feb. 16, 2009.

I listened all the way through the recorded message and the woman's voice said if you press "2" they said it would remove your number from the list.

I've been called a few times by different numbers some local Toronto numbers, (416 & 647) some 800.

I pressed 2, I hope they remove my number.

Received a call from this number at 12:20pm on my cell phone. First time I have seen this number.  Hope they dont call me again.
