Keeps calling ... I'm really unsure as to how they got my number because it is blocked ...

I've been receiving numerous calls from various numbers with the following recorded message "This is your 2nd notice that the factory warranty on your vehicle has expired".  It comes from all sorts of numbers but always the same message. I can't figure it out.   Any ideas?

It is likely to be a simple telemarketing draw to see what phone numbers are occupied, what times they answer their phones at and how often they answer their phone. Don't be surprised if you start getting telemarketing calls, this kind of thing has happened to me before. Of course, that kind of auto-dialing method is illegal to be using.

That's my idea, at least.

Call id info is faked.  Got all sort of 416000xxxx calls many times.  Just ignore them.  Nothing much can be done.
I can't even block them, since the last 4 digits are random.
It is the car warranty scam that has been on going for a long long time.
