another idiotic car warranty call AGAIN.

I'm ignoring all 416-000 calls since this seems to be the common refix to these moronic car warranty telemarketing dialers

Just because the phone rings you don't have to answer it. It's unbelievable how many people go into a cold sweat when they hear a phone ringing and nobody answers it.

SmackYZ has got the right idea so when you don't recognize the number treat it as a telemarketer and since you really don't want to encourage them - don't answer. This group using 416-000-xxxx has at least 10 to 12 numbers they have used to call me and it's different each time.

I have been receiving calls from 416-000-5579 every other day for the last 2 weeks on my pay & talk cell phone. Annoyed that whoever was calling my cell didn't get the hint that they were calling a wrong number (vm was never left), I finally answered the call and the caller was a female automated voice message saying that this is my 2nd notice that my car warranty is about to expire. I pressed #3 automatically as soon as I heard the message and it said "thank you" and hung up. Hopefully I have been removed from their list. This is very annoying because I have to waste minutes on my emergency cell phone for some useless scam. I'M NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!!

NOTE: I have heard that if you press # 3 or #9 when you get automated message calls, it is supposed to remove you off their list.  I have also heard that if you press # a whole bunch of times as fast as you can, the computer that randomly dialed your number gets confused and thinks that something is wrong and it drops your number from its list and it hangs up the phone on its own.

Just like anything that you have your name attached to the client list is sold to different companies, Why would Telus be any different

this car warranty place some how got my house number and my cellphone. and i am sure everyone can relate to how stupid and annoying this phone call is. it is a waste of my time and money but we must lal reunite and join forces to tell this auto-mated machine voice to suck our giant [***] becasue we are tired of recieving so many phone calls a weeek.
