I wanna know how they gained access to my number. thats the real crime. Not that they are selling the prince of persias underpants or whatever it is,

i've received 2-3 calls this week from this number on my PC Mobile cell, they never leave a message.

Has phoned 3 times in the past week. They won't leave a message. They have phoned about 6-7 times in the past few weeks.

how are these people getting my number??  they called my cell phone which is unlisted and the blackberry that i use for work.  i never give out the blackberry number.  it is effing annoying!!!  i told the lady not to call either number again and they've called multiple times per day.  

i'm with the person that suggested an air horn...although, i'm at work as well!

I recieved one of these calls on a Bell mobility phone over the noon hour Tue Feb 24.

416-000-7796 has called my house 23 times since January 1st. My cell phone has gotten atleast 4 calls this week. How did they get my unlisted numbers? Does anyone know? They've never left a voicemail on my cell but I get the factory warranty on a car on the answering machine every couple of days. It's so irritating!!! Can they be blocked?

i got this call last week, answered and got the automated "your factory warranty is near expiry.. press one to talk to a rep" so i hit one (i got a new toyota, not near the end of my warranty) and yep. first thing they want is personal info. i told her no then she politely said she would put me on the "do not call list"... turns out there isnt one, they have called me time and time again. so dont bother telling them not to call back. they will.

These 416 numbers that start with 000 call me almost everyday on my cell phone when I'm at work. I've never had the chance to pickup when they call though, apart from seeing I've missed a call.

Everyone I know is getting these calls! They leave messages every day on my parents land line and are calling all of our cell phones more and more! Can't they be stopped?

My husband and I are both getting these calls on our Telus Cells... we don't answer because we don't recognise the number.  Just like to mention to those asking how they got your number... No one gave them your number, these companies work off of banks of phone numbers.  They most likely use machines that constantly dial banks of numbers loaded into them, so it's random. This is why they have to ask you for your personal information. If they had gotten your number from somewhere, they would have that already. Also,it's probably why work and personal cells phones are being called at the same time... because they are from the same area and in the same bank of numbers they are mass calling.

These numbers have called my cell phone incessantly for about 2 weeks. It is so annoying!!

Yep, same thing. Over and over and over again. Picked up today (from 4160007963 today) and told some woman to put me on their do not call list. She hung up.

Tried to call back and number is not in service.

I really wish mass dialers were outlawed. I'd support death by dismemberment for possession of one.

Booyah2020,  Just curious have you registered any of these numbers with the Do Not Call List?  We have had our cells, home etc. registered and all numbers are being called by this number.  Two of our friends have had the same thing and all their numbers were registered on the list.

warranty running out on cell phone f### off already

I've had a ridiculous amount of calls from these random people....
just plain annoying.

I get them several times a day, everyday. I don't answer them. Everyone I know also gets these calls, all of them trace them back to some factory/warranty/car company with no name. Like all of you, they get asked personal information.

Ya same here, yesterday and now 5min ago which is what led me to this site trying to figure who it is. Didn't there use to be a ban on telemarketing cell phones? I mean, some people are pay-as-you-go and have to pay whenever these people call.

just curious i see some ppl say telus, i too am with telus and get this phone call daily!!!! sometimes 2 or 3 times a day!!!  is this telus selling our personal info????????
