Since I added my phones to the Canadian "Do Not Call List" I have been receiving more, not less, telemarking calls.  I suspect the list is being downloaded and used...

saw it & let it ring ..
bogus number to start with .. left a hummmmmm on my voice mail

I am with Solo Mobile and I received a call at 11:37am but didn't answer. They didn't leave a message but if they call back I will answer it until I am able to talk to a rep and make them take me off their list.

I just received a call from that phone number 416-000-7935.  I have also been getting several phone calls from different area codes.  Strange!!!!

I got a call from this same number (416-000-7935) Feb 17/09. I did not pick up and no voicemail message was left.
I tried calling the number back, but the call could not be completed as dialed.
Feels like a scam to me, although I have recieved calls in the past from those who use SKYPE, where the area code appears as 000.
I am also with Rogers.

This number must have something to do with bell mobilty All Five phones we have had this Call on the display But never on our office line

I'm tired of getting calls from this number on my cell and its costing me money. I wish they would just stop.

I've had this number call twice now. Both times I've missed it, no message either time. Definitely a scam. Tres annoying!

Just got a call from this number, answered the call and there was no answer. I have been getting a ton of calls like this on my cell phone in the past month - I am, unfortunately, a Bell Mobility subscriber. My husband is a customer with Rogers and has also started getting calls similiar; car warranty, no answer, etc.
In the past few days have received calls on our home line, provider is Cogeco, and they have been simliar in nature; no message, beeping like a fax machine transmission or simply dead air.
All of it is becoming VERY annoying !!!!

I just got a call at 3:15pm it's Feb17/09.  No voicemail.

Also, I'm with Telus so it's not just one cell phone provider getting hit with these calls.

i just got a call from this number at 3:22pm on feb 17/09 but i didnt pick up. i too have been getting a bunch of weird numbers (951/909/etc) and its really annoying me! im with rogers

I got this call for the 2nd time now on my cellphone.
I even picked up the phone once at work and it was something about car insurance so i'm assuming it was the same number.
Why can't they just leave people alone?
I also get calls on my house phone a lot during the day and the number is sometimes even (000-000-0000) and a voicemail is left and it's just like a fax machine beep almost.
It's getting reallly annoying..
I wishhhh I could call the 416-000-7935 and [***] at them :)

Got the scam call at 4:10 pm Feb 17. First car warranty scam call I have received in about 4 weeks. I believe they may have purchased the Do Not Call list (I added my cell phone number on the first day possible). Strange, though, that i don't seem to get the calls on my home phone (knock on wood!)

I received a telemarketer call on my BlackBerry, which is very strange since I rarely give out my number. I've been receiving about 5 calls a week now, as well as even more on my business line (I work for a charity). I did not enlist with the Do not call registry since I wanted to see how it worked for others first.  Anyway, I have lots of practice of checking call display to see if the number seems legitimate and I ignored this one since it seemed strange.  If the caller was using Skype to reach me personally, I'm actually registered on Skype so that would have been silly to use a Skype-out call for a Skype user (when Skype to Skype is free).
I'm also on Bell Mobility.

I recieved the 416-000-7935 during the last minute of my english class, so I couldn't pick up, I tried calling them back, but the number didnt work!!! So annoying! This was on my PC Mobility pay-as-you-go phone that I got just a few months ago.

I received a call from this number this morning and my roommate just received a call from the exact same number several minutes ago. The only thing that I could think of that links us [since we have difference cell phone service providers] is that we both have a Scene card from Cineplex. I certainly wouldn't put it past that company to give out personal information. Obviously Scene cards are just a means of garnering statistics on movie-goers. Do any of you have Scene cards or Scotiabank Scene Cards?
