got the call at 6:06pm - from alberta too.... didn't answer

I also got the call and many other calls from other numbrs i don't know of and now am wondering how they got my number

Got a call from this number on Feb 16. Did not answer. Looked suspicious.
Also got another call from 416-000-7931 today. Did not answer.

Yep.  Same place as 416-000-7931.  My wife got a call from this number a couple of days ago.  Supposedly "warranty services" to sell you an extended warranty on your car, just give your credit card number...

We're also in Alberta.

Have gotten this call a few times, finally just went through the motions.  After two minutes I was put through to an actual person.  They were VERY evasive as to how they got my number, and they REALLY wanted my name.  I asked how they got my number/which company they were, again, VERY evasive.  I asked them to never call me again, and the girl said that she would put me on her 'Do-not-call' list.  

We'll see!  (I'm from Alberta, a few people from work have gotten the same call.  I'm on Rogers.)
