i just received a call from this # but didn't answer. thanks to everyone who posted,i added it to my auto reject list on my cell. to bad we dont have that option on landlines!! best of luck

i dont answer numbers i dont know. but i DO google them. these posts r y i dont answer callers whose number i dont recognize.

STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER

i got the same number calling me and its weird because i didnt answer at first so i called back, and it says that the number cant be completed as dialed. so it cant be an actual number

This number appeared as an incoming call on my father-in-law's cell phone. We don't know who it is, but we suspect it is related to the Nigerian online dating scam that he was involved with, and to whom he lost $4,000. We suspended his internet and have been working to restore his identity, which they also stole. He's been back online for a month and has been in contact with them again. I'm not sure how the Nigerians are able to make these calls. Maybe some kind of international call warehouse who re-routes calls and numbers? He also tried to call out twice, but the verizon phone records only shows this:

This number called me at mealtime last night.  A man with a deep voice asked for me.  I asked "who was calling" and no answer so I hung up.  I do not like these calls!

I HAVE BEEN RECIEVING A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ALL WEEK. THEY EVEN LEFT VOICEMAILS ABOUT AN INVESTMENT. BUT WHEN I TRIED TO CALL IT BACK THE OPERATOR PICK UP. IT IS A VERY STRANG WOMAN TALKING REAL FAST. SO DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS.

Got a call, just so everyone knows it is tied in with facebook.  If you do their games and it asks/offers free or money, this is where it comes from.  I am cancelling my account.  They also do not offer any customer service or contact phone numbers to solve issues.

So I got an email from sponsors4free@hotmail.com because they were interested in buying something I had for sale on kijiji and told me to call 416-123-4567 or to text msg only 416-671-4450....

When this number called me, and it showed up as being from 1234567, I knew it was a fake number, because no telephone prefix starts with either 0 or 1. I just ignored the call, and they haven't called back. First call was a month ago today, so I doubt I'll hear from them again. However, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you call them back; you could wind up with many hundreds of dollars on your next phone bill, and by law you would be on the hook for paying it, since YOU made the call!

Received a call from this number at 8:30AM. I ignored the first call, they called right back and I ignored the second as well. I got a voicemail that's about 30 seconds long, with call center noise in the background until a man starts to speak a language I can't identify at around 15 seconds in. Hope they don't call back.

416-123-4567 Called me telling me I had won a 12,000 dollar home security system and I had to pay them 500.00 a month for the set up process click hang up SCAM MUCH???

Somebody is calling me from this number and he/she does not leave any message.

This number called my cell number 3 times in a row. I rejected it because I was driving. This has to be a scam! I would not answer it if I were you.

They just called me in Toronto Canada, no message, I couldn't call them back...no such number.

I just got a call from 416 123 4567 a couple of minutes ago, and knew it was fishy because the number was so stupid.  Didn't pick up; googled it instead and found all these complaints.

This is no doubt a scammer calling. The telephone number is a dead give away. What telephone number would be in perfect numerical sequence? 416-123-4567, the last 7 digits are a dead give away.

Caller ID is so nifty. Yeah, I have to pay for it, but it is a wonderful feature to have.

I avoid all 1-800, 1-866 calls. I also avoid all calls with a CID of V and whatever numbers are after it. Also to be avoided are calls from area codes I don't know.

Finally, if the caller is genuine and their message is important they will always leave a message and you can then call them back.

I have chosen not to register for the DNCL. From all of the horror stories I've read your call volume actually goes up! After all, for the unscrupleless telemarketer and those exempt from the DNCL rules it is a list of working telephone numbers. I think the DNCL rules need to change, do not call should mean do not call period. Close the loopholes. However, it would be far better to ban unsolicted telephone calls altogether! Unsolicted telephone calls are an invasion of privacy and enjoyment of my home. Junk mail I can throw away, but can you ignore your phone? How many times have you dropped whatever you're doing to go to the phone to see who it is, only to discover it was an @#$ telemarketer or worse, a probable scammer?

WTF MAN! So fraud WTF theres no company called dat!
