They called from three different phone numbers 416-350-1490, 1491 and 1492 so far. Did not leave a message. I Blocked all three numbers now.

Call back got "The toll free number you have dialed is not available from your calling area."  I'm in the states.  However, another site reports it as a charity fundraising call for the Kidney Foundation.

A legitimate charity would not have 5 sequential numbers that they call from one after the other.  Whoever this is uses 416-350-1489, 90, 91, 92, and 93, and I have blocked all 5 ... yet they keep calling.  I just checked the Kidney Foundation's website, and none of those numbers appear, so I doubt it's them.

I know that "Linda" posted almost 2 months ago, but this is a commonly held misconception that has to be addressed.
Blocking a phone number does not stop anyone from calling your number; it simply keeps the call from ringing your phone and usually redirects the call to voicemail.  Blocking does not inform the caller that you have blocked their call and does not convey any message to them that you do not want to be called by them.  All they know is that their calls are either unanswered or they went to voicemail.  That usually means that your number is just put back into the queue to be redialed again later.  There is no tool that will magically stop people/businesses from calling you; the most effective thing is to actually answer the call and tell them not to call in the future.

What makes you think that?  I am surprised that the only have 5.  A fundraiser for a charity needs to call a lot of people (as in thousands) to meet their fundraising goal.  Do you really think that they would do that using just one phone line, calling just one person at a time?

Which is totally understandable.
To start, their website will show the number(s) they want people to use to call them, not necessarily the numbers they use for outbound calls.
Secondly, and more importantly, charities outsource their fundraising efforts to companies that specialize in calling people in-mass to raise money for that charity (I will not delve into the practices of such companies in dividing the proceeds of the fundraising efforts between the charities and themselves at this time).  This number, and the others you have seen, belong to one of those companies, shich is doing fundraising "on behalf of" the Kidney Foundation.

This number calls every day and no answer on the other line. Very ANNOYING calling everyday for the past 3 months!!! Blocked all their calls!!!

Often call but NEVER leave a message.  If it is important they should leave a message.

This number 416-350-1491 and 416-350-1492 has been calling every day. Its a scam call. When call back it says its from Kidney Foundation.
