416-640-3445

we had a call from someone pretending to be calling though lendingtree asking us to send money for insurance for an approval on a loan.  When we called to get information as to how and where to wire the money we were calling on our cell phone and had a bad connection and asked that they call back on our home phone and when they did the number 416-640-3445 showed up on the caller ID.  Being suspicious of a canadian number I googled it and found it to be suspicious and called customer service with lending tree and found that the person who contacted us was not a representative of lendingtree.  The caller called herself Shelia Patterson. The person to whom the money was to be sent was Mashida Kone, Barrie, Ontario, Canada.

I had the same people call me from the supposed "lendingtree" and her name was Samantha Russell, but I also spoke with Sheila as well.  When they called me back, they called from this same number, when you call it back, no one answers and there is no answering service.

Also, in regards to the "lendingtree" people, they asked me to send money also for insurance for a loan........that's when I got suspicious, and I called the number on the Lendingtree website, and they said that no one from Lendingtree would ever ask for money upfront, and why would you need insurance for a loan.........So......please catch these scammers, trying to take ppl's money.  $750.00 at that.

(800) 233-2614 x316 - Borland Funding Source - yes - they got me.  I actually wired money to these two guys - they're currently under investigation though - someone is receiving this money it will be traced.  They have two women working with them as well - one named Phyllis Judy Morgan in East Peoria, Illinois and Sharon Gilberta in Ajax, Canada - these predators need to be caught and brought to justice!

These people are crooks!!!  I only wish I had googled this number before I actually did business with them.  They got me and my company too.  Eric Gostick who claimed to be a loan agent at ext. 601 called me to advise that we were approved for a business loan.  The catch was that we had to send six months pre-payments due to credit history.  Once they got the first payment, they then proceeded to say that there was a mix up in paper work and that I needed to wire 12 months pre-payment.  Because of the inconvience and "human error" as they called it they would add on an additional $10,000 at no extra cost.  BEWARE OF WWW.BRAMLEA-GROUP.COM OR 2NDCHANCE-FINANCING.COM, This is the site I visited while surfing the internet for a business loan.  They now have all of my information and my money.  The telephone number they gave me was 1866 796-2912.  I wired money to Bryan James Holt and Vincent Kroll.  I hope these guys get caught and soon!!

then when i made all the payments for 50,000
he told me that the agent made a mistake and told me to put in another 35000

Yep, They got me too for $1260.00. These guys are good. I can't believe I fell for this scam. I feel like a complete jerk. I had to borrow money to just to give them the down payment. I won't let them get me down. I can only learn from this and be more careful. Yes I too want these fools to go down and go down hard. Let me know if you find out anything else. I feel for you and am sorry for us and anybody else that this has happend to.
