CRA Scam call
Believe it or not this was a call from a telephone number that was not in service. So it's a hijacked number oh, and the call could be coming from anywhere most likely from scam generator. Block it!

I receive a call from this number 5 times a day

Cbv collections , not a spoofed number, outgoing only  , they have many numbers , blocked

Even during pandemic, they are still working and harassing people

They call several times a day almost every day. For 11 years!!! Each time they try a new number I block their new number. They're looking for someone whose last name is McMullen and neither I nor my wife have ever had that last name and this has been explained to the dolts at CBV. One of the signs of insanity is repeated doing the same thing while expecting a different a different result each time.

This is one of many ghost numbers used by BCV collections. Most are coming from call centres outside the country. CBV doesn't adhere to the laws of Canada even though they are run by a guy named Bob Richards out of Vancouver. Bob Richards owns CBV and also owns Front-line Group twitter handle @FLG_frontline - Bob's Linkedin page talks about how CBV is moving into India and Costa Rico etc- these are where their call centres are.  So the people calling you they don't know where you are, what the laws are in Canada - nothing. You're just a number on a computer screen. Doubly important because of this never to give out personal information. Bob can't really be trusted. This Is crooks. They want hack your bank information.  Everyday I receive over 50 phone calls and this is bunch of criminals

I have been getting calls from those people for about 8 years now. Somedays it's up to 10 calls a day from always from a different number. My phone is on "Do Not Disturb" nearly ALL the time because I can't even sleep because my phone is ringing morning to night. They leave messages that they are calling  on behalf or from a Canadian GOVERNMENT agency. These messages are almost always left through a prerecorded message which does not soun unlike a real person but a bot. That means that have machines set up to harass people as frequently as they set them to. I have never received a phone call from the government and all correspondence is done online through a SECURE GOVERNMENT link. Since my phone is always on "Do Not Disturb", unknown numbers from legitimate people trying to reach me are also silenced and I have to wait to listen to their voicemail and call then back which can result in "phone tag". I know of another service which makes sure only legitimate calls get through and I may have to put that in place but again, it inconveniences legitimate people who are trying to reach me. This is harassment, I can't sleep, I miss important calls about my health and work. This has to stop.
