The number belongs to SKYPE. Basically, when someone places an internet phone-call through skype to your phone, the call must gets transmitted through a local land-line.  416-861-9381 is ONE of these lines.

The person trying to scam you does not own this phone number. Rather, he is using a skype computer account and placing internet phone calls

Just received a call from this number with the call display name "ANONYMOUS".  It was some Indian guy telling you they work for a company tracking your travel reward points for credit cards.  They tell you that you qualify for free travel trips to Florida.

I kindly tell them I'm not interested buy the guy is quite pushy and keeps asking me why.  I ask the guy for his name, manager's name, and contact number and he refuses to tell me since its his personal information.

a total scam - I hope they never call back again!

I just got a call from this number in my clinic. First they asked if our fax machine is working and then she said that you had ordered fax supplies 90 day sago and it will be shipped soon. I gave it back to her and told her that I am going to report it to Police if I received something cos I never ordered anything. I have had a bitter experience before as well. They confirm your name and number over the phone and as soon as you say yes. They send you a box worh $10 and after 30 days keeep calling you for the amount of $350 against a pending invoice. So this time I was ready to give it back to them.

Apparently this scammer has managed to disrupt the lives of many people including myself - and no one can do anything about it - I keep a record of the number and just don't pick-up -God grant us the serenity to accept things we cannot change about these scammers who have nothing better to do!!!  In the meantime, any other suggestions will be welcome.  Thanks

I keep getting calls from this NODID thing from a number 503-457-1034.  They call every single day, told them today to take us off their call list.  Some foreign woman or man is always on the other end.  I want this to stop, like yesterday.  I also got calls from NODID number above 416-861-9381.

This number is a default number that shows up when someone is using the Link2VoIP.com service.

This company is in Panama so they don't care if you complain. It's a popular service for crooks to use... they can make the caller ID show what ever name they want just by programming what ever they like into their ATA device. Caller ID has no integrity to it when it comes to VoIP... they can fake the name and the number you see

This is a scammer and a thief, do not talk to this person.

He said that he received information from ROGERS that I was downloading malware and trojans on my laptops.  I told him I didn't beieve that Rogers would do that he then switched to Amazon - obviously a scammer - He wanted me to go to my computer and log on - no doubt so that he could try to hack it!!!!!

    Be careful of this guy.
