- fraserWhen I get these telemarketer calls or just calls where there is dead air, before I hang up, I hit the # sign a number of times. I was told it confuses the autocall and they don't call back. Worth a try.
- Smart Lady replies to meredith| 1 replyThat's all well and good to be on the, "National Do Not Call List," except that if you deal with Scotia Bank, this company apparently has the right to call you as they are part of that corporation. I find the best way to deal with them is to ask them to remove your number from their lists.

- ShillBuster replies to Smart LadyIf you ask them to remove your name, as suggested by the shill for this telemarketing fraud, your number will be confirmed and repeatedly called in the future for other scams and sold to other fraud operators.

v03140552030040, does anyone know where these calls are coming from and who they are? - I'm s Cell number
416-915-7928 calls everyday, morning noon and night. Never leaves a voice message if I turn it on and they have no qualms about letting it ring and ring and ring, then call back in 15min or so. It's bloody annoying - TI just got $25,000 accidental death coverage for $2/month.
Less than what I'm currently paying. So, despite it being a telemarketer, the call was less than 10 min and worked to my benefit.- Caller: Optima for Scotiabank
- Call type: Telemarketer
- T replies to WayneThanks for posting.
They should NOT have done that. If you had a premium payable with them, and had it in writing, any increase could have been argued. But it depends on who owns the policy, you or scotia visa.
I signed up with accidental death insurance, 25000 for under 3/month, but of course I own the policy, not Scotiabank.
