This number calls me two to three times a day.  I have answered and there is a long pause, which causes me to hang up.

Scammer.  BMO Master Card Scam.  I didn't answer but I called back.  She said her name was Lisa Smith, BMO Master Card. I hung up.  BMO representative would NEVER give out their phone number or their name.  They would NOT call you, period.

Just got the call too. They had my name, address and postal code but wanted me to verify the spelling of my name and email. They also wanted a temporary password such as city I live in or place of birth... I told them that it was very suspect and they are asking questions scammers do.  She transferred me to the verification dept. and the guy then wanted to confirm as well. I said No I don't think I want to check out this service and they just hung up.

Caller said calling on behalf of the BMO, and mentioned nothing important, I said then no need to call me, she hang up the call, it sounds like voice phishing call!

What is a "voice phishing call"?

Got a call from this number (january 2022) from Lisa Smith, wanting to offer me full home appliance coverage for my home appliances. I told her no thank you that I have coverage for that. She pushed back a few times trying to encourage the 30 day free trial and I told her no and to take me off her call list. She said it takes up to 14 days to be removed from the list...We'll see if the calls stop.

Just a call with this number January 2022, it's a 3rd party affiliate with BMO for insurance crap. So they probably got the number and phone from BMO but nothing else they know. Wouldn't trust dealing with them over the phone especially how they got your contact number.

I received a call also, a pleasant speaking lady, said she was from BMO total home care. They cover your furnace, water heater, air conditioner and all your appliances.
She said is was $39.99 a month, and various things this would cover if something went on your fridge or furnace. I said I wasn’t interested, already had this type of coverage. It sounded legit but she was a bit pushy and wanted to know my full name to start the process? I called BMO credit card and they confirmed this is not a BMO number or anything they offer.

Called number said was  BMO selling " insurance on appliances" SCAMMERS TELEMARKETERS

I had the same experience! Scammer!!!

Says Lisa from BMO with an optional service offer. Has called a number of times. When I say the person is not available and leave a message they simply say will call again and hang up.

They say they are BMO offering insurance for home appliances.  I said no thank you.  She was very pushy and have called back many times.  I have blocked the number.  The number comes up on my call display as a blocked number many times.
