- John replies to larnerThe caller told me he was calling from Florida. My Caller ID only gave me the number, not the location.
They must use diff.people for diff.regions of the country cuz the caller had a STRONG Haitian accent, which is very common in FL. - RickCaller ID said "RX Assistant." Phone number is nonworking number. This is likely an ID theft attempt or other scam.
- Caller: RX Assistant
- FrancesScam! As soon as I asked for the name of the company they told me. And asked for a credit card number to get ex assistance. I told them I would have to check them out with better business bureau. They hung up!

- MJ| 1 replyThe caller ID said RX Assistance but it was "a very important call about your credit card rate" "This is your 2nd and final notice." Don't I wish!!!!! Nothing to do with RX - assistance or otherwise. Just the same old credit card scammers trying a new trick. Can't call the number back just get a busy signal. Wish I knew how to spoof my name and number to call them all back without giving them our name and number.

- yefVery strange. As reported by others, the Caller ID reads "RX ASSISTANCE". Normally I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, but I am expecting a call regarding a prescription, so I picked up. It was the usual recorded woman's voice about credit card interest rates and that it was my final notice. If only that were true!

- alicia| 1 replywas asleep and could not see caller ID. it was a slimy Indian man from cc resorts...I screamed at him DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER. within 4 minutes got another recorded "Credit card" call. I think Mondays are really bad for robocalls, second call was from 508-001-0078. The same crooks use different phone numbers.
WHY can't the FCC catch these criminals???????????? this am another call from 321-967-5779- Caller: cc resorts

I'm amazed at how frequently I continue to see complaints from people who receives these calls because they're on the 'do not call registry'. IT DOESN'T MATTER because they're ROBO calls, that's how they get around the 'do not call' registry. Once you answer the phone, you've given them 'permission' so to speak to contact you. Robo calls from telemarketers have gotten away with this because they don't 'purchase' leads lists with the intent to spam people (which of course we know is a crock). It started with political robo calls during the 2008 presidential campaign. - Mikel replies to aliciaAutomated call asking about Rx plans. Definite call spammer. No caller ID info other than the number.
- DragonRobo call from "RX Assistance". I did not answer, but the voice mail picked up a segment of the call talking about "paying too much for prescriptions and press 1 to see if you qualify or press 9 to be removed from the list."
