I received the following text: “CANADA POST: Address validation required. Update your delivery info and settle any duty fees: (link provided).”  I’ve had this kind of text before and it’s a scam.  Don’t click the link, just block and delete the text.

I received a text supposedly from Canada Post to confirm my address within the next 24 hours or my delivery would be canceled.  It's close to the holidays so it looks like this scam is back.

Canada Post text received this morning asking me to click a link in the next 24 hours to confirm my address so I can get my delivery.  Like others have said this is a scam.  The easiest clue is that Canada Post doesn’t work on Sundays lol.

Scammers are out in full force before Christmas.  I got the same Canada Post text requesting I click on a link to verify my address and pay duty fees for a pending delivery.

These scammers clearly don’t understand how Canada Post works- a text on New Years Day in the evening.  Yeah- that’s a dead giveaway!

Text allegedly from Canada Post about a pending delivery with a link to confirm my delivery information and pay any duty fees. This came from an out of province number and on a Sunday evening which adds to the fact this is a scam.

Same text as everyone else. I used to work for Canada Post and they DO NOT send texts about deliveries or ever ask you to click something to pay duties or confirm your address.
