Back in elementary school they taught you that "the government" is not a single mass entity but a whole collection of departments and divisions, and not everyone who works in it shares the same agendas. If you think our national budget does not prioritize the things you want done, nothing keeps you from taking your concerns to your own elected officials.

You will need to substantiate your theory that "the gov is involved", because its meaning is not clear. Each year I can count the illegal sales calls to my home on ten fingers, without using a call blocker. I'm also not tooting whistles or inciting rage or making other vengeful responses touted by people who can't show a lasting impact. But what do I know, I'm just an idiot who takes phone security so seriously that most scammers ignore my number.

If you read that response to "Ima Pissedoff" more slowly, my objection was to needless bucket-mouthing on this website, which violates its terms of service. As you can see, Admin agreed.

I got a call from this number as well, caller ID says "Web Ranking". I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. As for the off topic discussion, many, many of these calls now originate outside of the US and can't be traced by 'da gubmint'.

Block it.  I did.

Got a call @ 8:06 pm. EST. We had just come home. CID said Web Ranking. No message was left. I don't answer calls from names and numbers I don't know.

Mr Brown and his companies ignore the Do Not Call Registry.  As soon as the state's Atty General files suit
against his companies, he just moves.  I believe his companies include Anytime Duct Cleaning, Card Services, Medical Alert, Ge Home Security, etc.  With a name like Sahar I wouldn't be surprised if he was an illegal.  But you can
reach him through the duct cleaning company at the number below.
