Call from a local 618 area code number......leave message to call 423 405 1490 ......state they have 2 matters and I have been officially notified!
Do these idiots think that I will actually call?

Called 3 times from greensboro nc number, but gave this number to call back. Said same thing about having 2 claims. Said they would contact my hr.  This must be a SCAM!

Got a call from this numbe.. 757- 379-8495 caller ID says Scam Likely !!  Didn’t answer . Left message requesting  that I️ call this number 423-405-1490 .. Left same message regarding contacting Hr dept and physical home

I have been receiving multiple phone calls stating they have 2 separate "complaints" against ____________ (same name as my ex-husband). The calls are from a local phone number, but give 423-405-1490 as the number to call and respond. If not, they will contact through the employer, etc... just like other messages I read here. I was concerned after so many calls, and tried to call the 423 number, but they immediately put me on hold, which raised my red flag even further. So now I am going to block the local number and disregard, sure it is some kind of scam.

Same as above callers, fake file#. Do these people have nothing better to do?

These people just called my number from a 256 area code on my caller ID.  This is Huntsville, AL but the return number left in the message is 423-405-1490.  They leave the exact message about claim against my husband saying they have attempted to contact us but haven't' been able to reach anyone.  They threaten to deliver papers to his job or our home.  After reading all of these comments, I have NOT called them back.  Thanks everyone for the helpful comments!

They just started calling me yesterday as well as my husband. They call from a local number, say everything you guys have commented . They call my spouse looking for him and give the exact same "claim" number. Welcome to tax season scammer time lol

Yes, we are also receiving these ridiculous calls.....when the caller said "good luck" it was obvious
it was a scam thing.   Everyone appears to have the same claim reference number .......too bad something can't be done to these idiots.

tried calling that number and a very snippy woman answered who refused to give the name of the organization she works for, just calling herself Carman and it's not a scam call, that my brother in law gave us my name and we all would be called to appear in court and if I called again I would be reported.....I told her that she has already been reported!   So, if you call and ask questions, you are again threatened to be reported BUT they won't answer any calls.    Don't know the point of this, just idiots trying to scam more info from people.   She kept asking me my name and I told her no, you tell me YOUR organization or I consider it a scam.   She hung up on me!   Hardly professional, so everyone, just ignore the call when you see it on caller ID.

same call.  Also tgey call my.mom. They said the debt i have can be paid in payments or 1 lump sum. they transferred me to a person naned carmen who needed a credit carn number or bank acct and routing numbets. I kept telling het i dont give numbers over phone. She then said i eoukd be garnished and have an extra fee put on it. I then gave her an expired card number and she looked it up and ssid it was expired. She says i should have gotten a new card from tbe bank and ehy did i give an expired number. What gets me is they wanted sone kibd of catd numbet or account numbers which i wouldnt give. Does anyone know if its normal for legitimate collection agencies to take card or bank numbets over tbe phine?

This company has contacted several of my friends off of Facebook telling me it's a personal matter and that I have to personal matters with them in this is my last attempt to collect information and they wanted it to settle today before they put a warrant for my arrest for two collection accounts after reviewing the information that they had they got the information from a third party collection company which they purchased this debt was resolved during bankruptcy and they said that they did not care they called back and harass me then 10 minutes later they called back and asking for my deceased mother and that they were going to put a warrant out for her arrest and they were outside of my house I tried to record them but my recorder did not work this is a company that would want a prepaid debit or MasterCard to settle the debt

Received a call from 215-709-0270 who left a voicemail. I don't answer numbers I don't have saved in my phone. The voicemail picked up halfway through the message. Apparently there are 80 claims out against me and that I need to call a separate number entirely with a claim number to have the issue resolved. Other number is 423-405-1490. They will apparently try and contact my home and workplace if I don't have this issue "resolved". The message ended stating I have been "officially notified." I don't even know what that means. Claims for what?

Same calls as everyone else on here. So annoying

Called from 608-713-9612. Prerecorded message that states they have 2 claims. Gives a call back number of 423-405-1490. Tried calling that number, first time was just music playing. Second time I get a message that the number is no longer in service. These calls are coming into our business phone. I have never talked to a person, so I have no idea who/what they are calling about.

Someone left message and when I called back Ashley transferred me to Tracey in legal department. She didn’t want to state the name of the company but said there are 2 claims against me. One of those is from Advance America for loan that I made one payment on. Never heard of them and  I told “Tracey” to put it in writing and mail it to me . She responded that I was warned and good luck to me!!?!!  Everything she said is against law, especially when she claimed that they were trying to contact me at work!!!  I have to find out how and to whom to complain about them.

I received a call today January 30th 2018 they are  telling me the same thing that there is a claim against me and when I called the girl was very rude and said she was from a legal department. I've had these phone calls before from different numbers they do it around Christmas time and around tax season time to try to scam people out of money I've even had some say they were from the IRS little do they know the IRS does not call you that's how stupid these people are

Received another phone call/message today 1/31.  The lady wanted me to verify my name and last 4 of my SSN.  Verified name but not last 4 digits of SSN.  I asked her what are these 2 claims you state are against me.   She would not provide any information unless I gave her my SSN last 4 digits.  These people have called before as a matter of fact over the last years they have.  A debt collector does not need your last 4 digits of SSN, this is FRAUD!!!!  Just some dead beats trying to scam money out of people.  And as I stated before, the IRS DOES NOT call you!!!  They need to contact you, they send everything by U.S. Mail.  I've had two calls now the first lady was named "Tracey" second lady would not give me her name.  I asked for these claims as well to be put in writing, was informed the same thing that "I have been warned"!  I would like to know how to report these dead beat people trying to scam money any way they can!  This is complete FRAUD!!!!

called back asking where they are calling from. They say they don't have time for me and if I won't give them a case number then they hang up. lol called back several times and they kept saying nope we are hanging up on you because I don't have time for this. LMAO
