I got this call also. Wanting me to participate in all day study for $175. What a joke. I never answer. I just let her leave a message like all the rest. Sick of these people. Shouldn't be allowed to call peoples cell phones.

Folks, this is real.  I have already taken part in two of their focal groups and am taking part in another one on Tuesday night.  Here is what it is.  Companies pay them to bring people in and they ask questions about the place or product and they get people's opinions on it.  That way the companies know if their products or services are pleasing the public or not.  They can see if they are doing things wrong...etc..  Like the group this next week is on a local news stations morning news.  I have never been offered an all day group before JUST the one hour groups and the one hour groups pay $100.  So all day for $175 seems a little off.

2nd call in as many days & this time they left a msg. on the machine.  Doing a survey on hospitals & wanted me to be part of a research group for 2 hours.  Said it paid $100 cash.  Lady who left the msg. was very polite with a true Southern accent.  Said to call back if I was interested....which I'm not.

This number is from Wilkins Research. One of the employees is a client where I work and she often calls me and asks if I want to participate in surveys. I have done one survey so far, and made $40.00 for less than a hours worth of time. I plan on doing more surveys in the future if I can work it around my work schedule. The survey's actually pay me more per hour than my "real" job and I appreciate the opportunity they give me to make a little extra money.

This is not a scam folks.  I work for Wilkins research and we do these projects to get people's  opinions.  If you receive a call from us to participate in one of our focus groups for pay, it is legitimate.   Just look at our page on facebook, we do these all across the country.

Then why didn't you provide information on how people can be put on your company's internal Do Not Call list ? A lot of people simply do not want to talk to your company. Your company and its clients are too nosy.

If you want to be put on the Do not Call list, then when you get a call from them, then ask to be put on their internal Do not call list.  It is that simple.
