They started calling me last week. Said I owed $325 for a Dish receiver not returned..told me that if I didn't pay it they would report it on my credit report.. Ticked me offf. I told him ' that is not my debt. I had Dish installed for my little 80 year old friend in 2012 and she had passed Sept 2015 but I had shipped it back" I found email from Dish proving it was sent back. They called me back and I went off. He ask me 'can you prove it's not your debt?' I was well pissed off by now and used some bad language but told him ' yeah I have the bill showing it was received and he asked me to fax it.. I did so that night with my license proving my address was different..
I work 3rd so they always call and wake me up.. Today after getting calls all week. I just so happened to be woken up and I told the stupid lady ' look, I faxed you proof that wasn't my bill so now you need to send me proof it is my bill and you can't do that, can you?  She said ' your number will  be removed and you won't get anymore calls  from us' I said ' well Thank God because you people are stupid.. get your crap straight before you start hounding people.. she hung up on me.. They ever call me again and I'm gonna see what I can do about them hounding me for a bill that isn't mine.

They won't go away. They'll pass your number on to the next person and they'll continue to call you back.

Since these are [***]-for-brains debt collectors that keep insisting that I am my wife's ex from 20 years ago. I have a surprise in store for them.

Good to see others confirm my suspicions--total scam but how were they making any money if they hung up without getting any info?Sounds like a data mining op with long term evil designs.

They called me 3-4 times a day. I called them back and they asked if I was my mother (not saying her name) when I told them no they said they would take me off the "list".

Repeated calls. As soon as I answer they hang up

They can't come to your house. If they do, call the police. You also need to inform your Attorney General's office that they made this treat to you. It is illegal to threaten, even the one that they are looking for, like this.

The call I get from this number is someone, saying they are a debt collection agency and asking for my husband. When I ask if I can help them, they say they are trying to collect a $300 debt for DISH. We do no have Dish network, and have never had Dish as our cable TV, so there is no way we can owe them this money.

But they have our phone number, his name and our street address.

After I told them this, rather heatedly, they transferred me to another person, and hung up. Later the same day, they called back and I missed the call. I called them back to ask them not to call again and was asked to hold for the proper department, which hung up on me again.

I just received another call today.  This number is going on my spam list.

They call every day at 9:30am.  Finally I called them to find out what they were about and people kept putting me on hold and transferring me without telling me anything.

Get called 2x daily from this number. No one ever responds to my asking who is this. I have and use the Federal do not call services on my phone. They refuse to acknowledge this.

They asked my last name.  I wasn't who they were looking for so they said they would take me out of their database.  Case closed.

The call daily and no one answers and they leave no message. One time I picked it up and they said an agent would be with me. I just hung up. I have no bills.

Collections in house for Dish Network and Directv I think. Just block their calls... I did!

I get a call from this number and I answer it and they hang up I don't know who this is but please don't call me back.

These morons at Receivables Performance Management use multiple numbers with different area codes from across the country. I'll just get a call blocker app to solve this idiotic problem.

Got a call from them a few days ago asking for a "Rachel ...".  I have been getting these calls off and on for years now.  They are very persistent and will not accept the fact that not only is she not here, but we do not and never have known the person in question.  Their number is blocked but the old cycle of calls several times a day continues.
