Caller was an investigative reporter looking for additional information on a story involving people and companies who run scams via telephone and internet.   Was particularly interested in information on the companies who robo-call and then sell those calls as "leads" to the companies who hire this type of firm to make the call for them.

They were also interested in getting additional information on a group of scammers who have been taking advantage of small business owners with a "Grant Scam" where they bait the owners by offering them assistance in writing the proposal and then slowly milking the victims with useless additional 'services'.
Typically they try and get the owner to give them credit card info through an elaborate ruse of using the credit card's toll free customer service number (from the back of the card) to do some type of "verification" of the balance on the card - and then actually billing the victim for as much as they can get onto the card - usually $1,500 to in some cases more than $8,000.
