I had a message from this number, however tha call showed up restricted as they called me. The message stated I had 2 hours to contact them so they could deliver documents.

I received a similar call today. What ever came of your call? Is this legitimate debt collection or a scam?

This number called my husband at work. I ran a check on it and found this is a landline from Redondo CA. This is a scam and being that it is tax time, these slime will be coming out of the wood work. Never call these numbers back or give any information to anyone. If it is true that you are being sued for anything, you would have to be personally served documents. No one can get any judgment without first serving you.

I just got the same call, I'm kind of freaking out because I called back the number and the dude verified who I am by saying my SSN. when I said it was me he said he would get my file and put me on hold and never came back. That's when I really started thinking something wasn't right and googled the phone number and found this page. Has anyone had anything happen beyond just the calls, any identity theft etc... I'm so pissed and upset I'm shaking. I hate that I let myself slip for even that few seconds to verify my social to someone I wasn't absolutely sure of...UGH!

Received a call tonight stating it was third attempt to serve me... and if I didn't reply they would deliver papers to place of business( which was correctly id'd) kinda scary. Oh they identfied the lawfirm as Robertson & Assoc. with a case number...

It's a scam. Real process servers never call in advance because then you could simply avoid them. Block and ignore their calls.

A private number called me giving me this number 424-241-0464. Also gave me a case number 90936519FL. Told me to call the number within 2 hours or I will have a warrant for my arrest for a failure to appear. I called the number and I was told it was for a 10 year old hospital bill in the amount of $1500.00. I was told that a deputy came to my house to issue a summons to appear in court. But the address they gave me was where I used to live nearly 20 years ago. But they had my driver's license number and my security number. I freaked out of course. The next day I called the sheriff's office, my insurance company, and the hospital. No court date, no warrant, no bill is owed for the hospital stay. Very scary that they had all of my information.

All of the same happened to me. I called hospital they said no anything over 7 years has been expunged. So it's not them. All of the above happened. I did however give them my credit card number. They couldn't get the amount wanted because it was over my daily limit. So today I changed my card # as my bank told me that they could whatever I lowered my old card # to. So I canceled that card and got a new one. Low and behold they called me to tell me that they would follow threw with their judgement. He was furious that I had canceled and hung up on me. So I guess we will see what happens now. DON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE I ALMOST DID THANK GOD.

i also received the same call stating that they are law firm and that my family member has 2h call back this number 424-241-0464 with the case# and if they don't they will have a failure to appear in court. it little scar me since i don't know what my family member might have done, the weird part is that they had my cell phone number and her name. Also the number show up private but my phone shows telephone number anyways in call history which was 714-874-4712, that is the number who actually scamming people. I wish those people get what they deserve for what they doing to people.
