Called no message left. Rejected and blocked call spam.

Said it was DPSS calling for personal address and something about verification of income. Called back and the number was static. Definitely a scam.

Said they were looking for me(said my full name) from the medical office? Said they needed household income verification sent to them. Left no contact info.

These people left aessage saying my DPSS case was going to be terminated. These people knew my FULL NAME... tired of the digital BS

Valid number, was verified and is DPSS

Called and knew my full name. Said they needed income verification for my DPSS case and were very aggressive. I told them I would call DPSS directly. They said they had nothing on record of anyone calling me.

Called with a verified DPSS number, claimed to be DPSS. I realized it was probably a scam and hung up. I just realized a little too late. Praying everything is ok!

"Praying everything is ok!"?  What does that mean?  What do you think could possibly happen with a phone call that you gave no information on?

Left v/m said this a call for " full name " then stated calling from DPSS will call within 5 min / I called the number it gave me the recording of the DPSS self service line. I hanged up. Lady called again and left v/m stating to call the 877 number to view the message.   I have the DPSS app upon logging in and checking the e-letters there nothing new to view.   Don't know if this was a scam call

They said my full name and that they were calling from dps office but i don't think so they always call me private call

I called DPS OFFICE they said they don't have any messages for me or have they called me

Asking for my SSS number/ case#/ lots of important number. But never gave it to them since I'm not sure of the number that called me. DPSS never called me since before only email

Called claiming to be DPSS asking for my current address& if I didn't give her that information she'd discontinue my medical coverage. I told her that's fine with me seeing as I wasn't even aware that I had medical insurance through"LA County DPSS". I don't know how she knew my full name, but seeing as I'm NOT a resident of California and haven't been for many, many years!! (Medi Cal is state provided medical coverage for California only!**( After I contacted LACounty  DPSS to make sure nobody was using my name and getting county aid. They confined that I do NOT have any case with them. ( I am
 reporting as spam)

Called me very early claiming to be attempting to complete re-enrollment for Medi-Cal. The guy asked if it was a good time to complete go over my case but I was immediately suspicious because I wasn't even aware that I had an ongoing case with DPSS and they have never called me before, only contacted me via mail.  I told him it was not a good time and is he asked if I wanted the direct line to call back. I said "sure, what's the number" and he asked me to confirm some personal information so he could share information regarding my case. I told him that they should already have that information and I don't feel comfortable sharing it with him, nor do I need any info regarding any case at the moment, but I'm willing to take down the number and call back at a better time. He became noticeable annoyed by my unwillingness to provide any personal information and made a comment about me not wanting to give him any information but wanting him to give me a phone. He gave me this same number and abruptly ended the call.

A woman said she is from Covered California. She wanted to know our address and bank account, and wanted me to apply for Medicare.
I'm 56.
Definitely scam.

Someone called for the wrong name mentioned and said they could not determine my eligibility with the application I filed.
