- JeanieCalled claiming to be DPSS asking for my current address& if I didn't give her that information she'd discontinue my medical coverage. I told her that's fine with me seeing as I wasn't even aware that I had medical insurance through"LA County DPSS". I don't know how she knew my full name, but seeing as I'm NOT a resident of California and haven't been for many, many years!! (Medi Cal is state provided medical coverage for California only!**( After I contacted LACounty DPSS to make sure nobody was using my name and getting county aid. They confined that I do NOT have any case with them. ( I am
reporting as spam)- Caller: Claimed to be LACounty DPSS

- LeeCalled me very early claiming to be attempting to complete re-enrollment for Medi-Cal. The guy asked if it was a good time to complete go over my case but I was immediately suspicious because I wasn't even aware that I had an ongoing case with DPSS and they have never called me before, only contacted me via mail. I told him it was not a good time and is he asked if I wanted the direct line to call back. I said "sure, what's the number" and he asked me to confirm some personal information so he could share information regarding my case. I told him that they should already have that information and I don't feel comfortable sharing it with him, nor do I need any info regarding any case at the moment, but I'm willing to take down the number and call back at a better time. He became noticeable annoyed by my unwillingness to provide any personal information and made a comment about me not wanting to give him any information but wanting him to give me a phone. He gave me this same number and abruptly ended the call.
