I just had some guy named Rudy from this company, NLS, call me.  He called my cell phone 6 times... BACK-TO-BACK... until I answered!!  When I checked the voicemail before answering, he said he was looking for a Jason.  When I answered the 6th time he called, he asked for Charles.  I told him he had the wrong number, then he said "I'm actually looking for Jason".... Who does that??  That's a ridiculous Bill Collector Scam!!  This company is borderline HARASSING!!  You don't call someone continuously UNLESS YOU KNOW you have the correct phone number!!

I apologize for the inconvenience to you.  This is not how we conduct business and we will be retraining this agent to be sure this does not happen again.  It sounds like he was having some difficulty with his computer system and was dialing the same number when he had the next file already open.  That could explain asking for the wrong person and possibly why you got back to back calls.  I believe I have Identified the file and marked it clearly so you will not receive any more calls.  If you do receive any more calls from our office please ask to speak with a manager and we will address the situation.

The phone # 425-212-1578 belongs to New Leaf solutions, a debt collection company that makes it their business to harrass people, whether or not they reach the party they are looking for.  By Washington State Law (where their business is ie: in Everett Wa. with one of 5 owners name of Rocco Liace) they can no longer call you once you tell them to stop calling you.  If they don't stop, report them online to the Attorney General of Washington state at their website (easy to find via google).  The same is true for out of state debt collectors (report them to their state's attorney general).  This is a good way to get them to stop their harrassment (you know, calling at early/late hours, multiple times, verbally aggressive tacticts, etc).

New Leaf Solutions LLC is NOT a debt collection company.  Under no circumstances does New Leaf Solutions LLC allow its employees to make calls with the intent to harass, intimidate, or annoy any person.  If you do not know the person we are trying to contact the n tell us politely so we can stop wasting our time and yours.  You seem to have some confusion between telemarketing calls and calls for consumer accounts.  We do not make telemarketing calls or call from a commercial calling list.  If you really fell you must waste the time of the Washington state attorney general to resolve a matter that you could have just been an adult about the feel free to do so. NLS thinks it's legal to threaten lawsuits on 21 year old debt.

Ally Grey calls me and asks for Jeff consumer  I tell her that is my last name but no "Jeff" here. I tell her your lying to my face dont call anymore. She says she is going to keep calling later that day. I call back and talk to Joe the supervisor and he says "we are not a collection agency" I tell him I am sure you want to get Jeff but there is no Jeff here. He says why are you mad? I say because you call me and lie to me and tell you Jeff consumer gave you this number! complete bulloney. You have  a database and your calling same name same area whatever your lying to me. He re-iterates that the guy gave him the number.  I guess they dont mind lying for a living. Filing a complaint with the FTC.

You are correct.  Per the definition given in the FDCPA and Washington state law New Leaf Solutions LLC is not a debt collector.  look for yourself.

Wow. I hope you're just a high school student killing time during summer break by impersonating a New Leaf Solutions representative. Because I'd fire any employee of mine who represented my business in a public forum the way you just did.

What is your basis to claim the poster is "hiding" a family member?  Moreover, even if s/he does know that family member, what makes you think they would, could, or should provide information about them to you or even convey a message on your behalf, do you think they are your secretary?

Since the economy tanked, these criminal debt collectors have sprung up like a bad case of bedbugs.  It easy to buy blocks of bad debt these days. Sometimes the debts being purchased have descended down through multiple "firms".  These lower tier folks are true scumbags in every sense of the word.

What you are saying is that your are not a LEGITIMATE debt collector, but you are are band of criminals.  Does that about cover it?

Since New Leaf Solutions LLC is not a scam or criminal debt collector you will just be wasting the time of a federal agency and wasting public money but since you think it's ok to simply never pay any bills I'm sure you don't care about that.
