Screen Printer in Texas. Same this happened to us. Called credit card company and they said this is fraudulent.

I haven't gotten a phone call on this but recently have received several emails from various names with pretty much the same request. I've been in the shirt business for 20 years and have seen this scam many many times.

Also be aware that they use the hearing impaired TTD lines where an operator translates the call to you which is the first version of this scam I had dealt with probably 15 years ago. The sad thing with that is that the operator is legally bound to only tell you what the person on the other end of the line is typing and can't interject. When I said something directly to the operator about it being a scam that I had seen before and that I was ending the call they reluctantly told me that was a good idea.  I think they knew all along but couldn't say anything. Nice way to abuse a system meant to help the hearing impaired. Real scumbags!!

At first I got excited about this business opportunity, but after thinking about it it seemed kind of fishy. Why?? I am not in the shirt or screen printing business, I sell perfumes!!! However, like the other posters, my business is in Texas. So I went on to tell him I am able to get them and he responded the following:

Are you the owner of the company?

Do you accept the major credit cards as a form of payment over the phone ?

And how long its going to be ready for pick them up at your shop when payment is done?

I await your response soon.

I wish we could do something about this and get authorities involved. BE CAREFUL!!!
