Just got a call from this #.  When asked if they were a collection agency, they said "no, we're an asset recovery firm".  This really doesn't do anything for me.

just got a call from this number message left was from a "mr daniels" saying they needed info regarding my residence. did not return the call

I got a call from a number I didnt recognize(425 315 7304), Friday around 2 pm... it was a mals voice but, I accidently erased the message because I didnt hear anyone speak for a few seconds... so I erased the message... I heard "this message is for..." and then I had already pushed erased and couldnt undo it. He called my house tho???? Might be a collection agency but when I looked up online, it came up as a Verison cell # out of everett WA...??? 4-16-11....

Got a message from this number asking me to call back within 24 hours and ask for donovan young.  When called back was told to leave number and case number. No clue who this is or what it is about.

These people called my neighbor asking if I was home. They can call my neighbor but can't call me directly???

These people called me and asked for John McGrady and reported that this person put me down as a contact person. I have never heard of this person before. Additionally, they said that their "client" might have the wrong contact information.  We have only had this phone number for a month.

Got a call from this number 425-315-7304 saying he was Donovan Young. They were looking for a Jesus H. I called the number back and gave the case number the left on my answering machine and explained this was not me. The person that I spoke to was clearly the person who left the message, this gentleman has a distictive voice and denied he was Donovan Young. This person that got irrate with me on the phone and hung up. Clearly this is a collection agency and they have the wrong number. If I get any more calls from them, and I am documenting, I will consider this harrassment.

I think its a Law Firm...these guys served me about 6 months ago but I never responded.

So if a collection agency is a douche, then they would be an enema.
If any one gets any address or fax please post it so I can serve them with a cease and desist letter.

So apparantley you dont pay your bills Bob....especially if your ceasing and desisting everyone....what a shame America is when people can get out of their obligations just by sending a letter...gotta say Bob Ive never been late on a bill even while I have been unemployed and maybe that is why I can go get any loan I want and you can only send letter to stop people from calling you about money you owe...PATHETIC!

I beleive this is a collection agency. This Donovan Young called my phone looking for my son wanting his address because he was going to be a defendant in a case....  Please..... these jerks need to be honest to get cooperation. his name came up on my cell phone caller ID as Don Lawyer.......  what a line of crap...

I received a call from that number this past monday.  Donovan Young implied that he was a lawyer and informed me that I was to be served with papers because I was being sued by Chase Manhattan Bank.  I immediately got suspicious because the address he related (wanted verification for the process server).  He used my friends address, one we used for a bank acct' years ago which never issued us a credit card and has been closed for years.  I also got suspicious because I've never heard of a process server calling to tell you when you'd be served.  Don't they try to catch one off guard.
I hung up and at first freaked out and then called the bank.  Next day I visited the local branch of Chase (the acc't with my friend's address and they did a search.  Said there was absolutely no money owed to Chase and there never had been.  Then I called Master Card (the name mentioned by Donovan Yoiung)
They also told me that they had no case against me.

I then contacted the attorney general's office who referred me to the FBI.  The Attorney General could not handle it because there is absolutely no business license in WA State for Donovan Young or Sound Credit.
I am contacting the FBI.
Oh yes, it took continued questioning for him to tell me the name of his organization.
If it smells like a scam, walks like a scam.......
I encourage everyone who is contacted by this man to be proactive and contact the bank and the FBI.

Actually to the post above if you look up washington state business license they are licensed and bonded I should know this because I am a client.... I only say this because Im going to assume that one of these posts is the guy who owes me money because he did the same thing to me....I sent it their for collections and I wanted to look up their reputation.  I think Donovan is a paralegal or something like that as far as being an attorney he is not...he just runs the legal department there....Im not liking what Im reading but one thing I do now there are licensed and they do have an attorney (at least thats what they told me)

Haha I would be willing to bet that all of these posters probably owe alot of creditors..Im so glad my credit is good....I can get a vehicle loan whenever I want for how ever much I want without a down payment....I would be willing to also bet that none of these people who post stuff about collections can even qualify for a payday loan...HA What a joke you are...of course people are gonna bash comapnies calling em about money...their mad because they ripped someone off and are being called about it....LOSERS!

An advance phone call telling you that you're about to be served with legal papers is a sure sign of a scam. Asking you to verify your address for the benefit of the process server(!) is a sure sign of a none-too-bright scammer. I hope you pursue this matter and keep us posted.

Actually I am a very real person and Im not sure how you can fake a post on here....the website admin must be an idiot or something.....these guys have resolved a few claims for me because I couldnt collect the money myself as the person's who's vehicles I fixed didnt pay me...I think this is a good website for people however u may want to get your facts straight and Id be willing to bet that J.M Agren probably owes everybody under the son along with other posts on here....I mean seriously how are consumers going to get mad that they are being called about money they owe....and also to educate the less educated....before a process server serves someone they need a good address to do it so it would be logical for whoever is filing a small claims matter to verfy the address they have for the person so as to make sure they are served properly...and either you have to verfy with the person you are pursuing or with a neighbor or landlord....and Im sure most people dont want their friends or landlords called so it makes perfect sense....anyone who says otherwise is probably avoiding a process server themselves or hiding from bill collectors....and then they justify what they are doing as harrasment or a scam.....clearly you can run these guys thru the link provided to see that they are an actual company and if anyone on here needs to verify I am real then please message me and I will give you my contact information....calling these guys a scam is clearly stupid as Washington state license office can confirm they are legitimate.

And also go to SoundCreditservices.com and that is their webiste....it would seem a pretty elaborate scam for someone who is scamming to have a website up for 4 years that could trace back to them easily...thats why this is all so stupid because clearly these guys are licensed and bonded and it just seems that the people who dont want to pay their bills are the ones complaining...Id be willing to bet one of these posters is John Carlson whom I fixed his tranny on his 2008 charger and he bounced me a check and if it is you John then just know I will get paid!

Hmmm, looks like somebody was cutting class when they were supposed to be in "How to run a scam on the internet 101".

Having a license means nothing, but it does help your victims know who to complain to.
