I got one of these today.  Answering machine picked up...... no one spoke...... click on the other end.
I have caller ID and it says UNKNOWN CALLER.  So you know it's a telemarketer.  

What I did a while back was buy the loudest whistle I could find.....you know the ones someone would use in an emergency to get attention........ I would wait until a LIVE person came on and spoke. Then I would  blow it as hard as I could into the mouthpiece.   Guess what,  the calls from that number COMPLETELY STOPPED.

I wanted to update my Google listing so I got this company to do. They called and offered their service and I accepted. I c gave them my Visa # and they billed me for the agreed $748.00. But, later, after they took my money, I found out that you have to have a website. I do not have a website and thought they would give me one for all of that money. No, they did not. So, I am still not on Google. I emailed Google and they have never heard of me and offered to give me a gmail account for free. But, even Google did not give me a website or a listing. I am really mad at Google and everyone, now!

There looking for some clown that has an illegally landscaping company in Queens Creek, Arizona. I'm getting 4 to 9 calls per day. His name is (Omar)

Keep getting phone calls from this number. They say they are google ads calling to verify my business line. I do not have a business. They are calling my cell phone. I've clicked 9 every time they call to get off their list. My husband called them back and demanded they stop calling me. The guy threw an attitude at him and hung up. They still keep calling me!!!!!

You are directing your anger at the wrong person. You should be angry with yourself for falling for this garbage.  Google had nothing to do with it and doesn't owe you a cent.  748 is a huge chunk of money in this day and age. I hope you find out the person who really offered you the service and sue them. Start out with the better business bureau. Use the name of the company that debited your account. And for goodness sake change your account number with the bank. Now that they have your account and routing number and can show that the debit was uncontested they can keep going back and taking more money.

That says it all. The harassing telemarketers who never cease their corrupt efforts to annoy are actually working in the service of those who wish to sell more call blocking telephones. Of course nobody will do business with someone who practices such immorality. They know that. They serve the interests of the likes of Panasonic and Uniden, just as most anti-virus software peddlers encourage hackers to invent new ways to attack your computer. It's good for business. The writer of the above post sells phones for Panasonic and Uniden, and doesn't have the slightest interest in the happiness and welfare of the general public at large. Completely self serving.

A recording said it was for a Google updated listing for our business. We never used them. I hung up.

You are without question the dumbest person on Earth.

I just ran across your post and there is a solution. I too run a business and I have taken an old PC laptop and installed CallClerk on it. The one nice thing you can do is block by the NAME and not just by the number. Most of the spoofers out there change their number but not the name. In this case "LOCAL RANKING R" They use dozens of numbers but still use the same name. Set the software to hangup on these types of calls and you are well on your way to a more productive business.
