We have been receiving numerous phone calls in the past just like yours looking for my husbands ex wife so we always hit the no button, but last night they called and were looking for my husband with the same story.  When I hit the button to say I was my husband I was on hold for 10 minutes before someone got on the line and right from the get go she was extremely rude and demanding that my husband had a past due bill with AT&T from 1997.  I explained that this was over 10 years ago and we have had no collection notices and no phone calls about this.  She demanded that this was my husbands bill and we owed it.  I had enough of her rudeness and hung up on her.  I then called back and demanded that I speak to a supervisor and was given another woman who had the same personality as the first lady and said we owed a bill of $97 from 1997 and when I told her we were not paying it she said they will report it to the credit bureau and continue with collection proceedings.  I said have at it.  I contacted our bank this morning and asked them if they could look up that far bank and unfortunately, they are unable to, but my bank said to call them and send a letter stating that we were disputing the debt under the FDCPA Fla Statute 805 sub paragrah c and they were not to call me anymore.  I called them and asked told them this and they said they had to have it in writing so I got the address to send it and asked for the account number they were calling about.  I then spent 3 hours on the phone tonight with AT&T and checked with them at all of their departments to be sure that any past bills from back then were paid off.  Finally one of the representatives said let me check something because this is throwing up red flags to me and that is when he told me to look at this web site.  He said do not give them any information about us and definitely do not agree to pay them.  This is a scam and I am considering contacting my local police department or the better business bureau or anyone else that I can to stop this kind of harassment and punish these ignorant people.
I am just glad that people have spoke out about this.

I decided to spam call the company, and wow was that amusing.  They hung up on me every time I called and asked who they were, a countless number of times.  Very rude too.  However, I finally got got put through to a rookie, he didn't know all the rules.  So he talked to me a bit, he wasn't allowed to tell me much, but when I asked him questions he told me I was warm or cold.  He told me he didn't know whether or not the company was legit, but he told me their web address.  receivablesperformance.com   They are a form of collection agency.  The number to call them on is 888-745-9332.

The best way to screw with them, is to call them repeatedly, and is is a bit of fun too, since you know that the company is made of heartless evil animals.

Calls coming in for months on my business cell phone. I have voice mail that clearly states my name. I finally called today to get it resovled and got hung up on and told to "not make more of it than it is" Rude and illegal collections practices to say the least. I am not even related to the person they are looking for and I have never heard of them. They told me my number would be removed. What a joke.

I have seen this number appear on my phone many times over the last month. Tonight, I'd had enough. I let it think I was the person it was looking for (my mom). When a human FINALLY picked up the line I told her I didn't appreciate a computer calling me. I think if they want to talk to us, then a human should place the call. I also suggested she find another means of communication if she wanted my mom and wouldn't tell me about this "personal business matter." She wouldn't use e-mail and rudely cut me off when I suggested the US Mail. She asked if there was another number and I said yes. When she asked the number I asked her if she wanted to call Cancun Mexico tonight. We'll see what happens, and I've shared this website with my mom... I sure am getting tired of these calls and if this is truly a scam (Mom had an AT & T account years ago), then, we need to do soemthing to shut them down!

Also getting the same nonsense from this company from a guy who no longer has my phone number.  I've tried everything to get them to stop bothering me, but they do nothing instead.

What is this company?  They keep calling my mom's house, and when I try to call them, someone answers and puts me on hold right away.  They don't say their name, and now I've been on hold for 15 minutes.

I've been receiving calls from "Receivables PE" 425-354-1563 for nearly a year. I've spoke with the same woman twice and both times she refuses to believe that I am not Madeline Brown. Why can't these idiots accept the fact that people change phone numbers and the phone companies reassign those numbers to new users? She tried to get me to tell her my name and I refused. She doesn't need to know and I sure don't trust these people with any of my private information. I have cable telephone which doesn't Call Block and the only other solution I have is to have my number changed.

I keep getting a call from 405-354-1563 and they place on me on hold for about 15minutes. When they come to the phone they keep wanting me to verify my las 4 digits but I will not. They proceed to be very rude and talk over me then when I ask them what this is in reference to they say they are with RPM and a collection agency. When we ask for a supervisor they get even ruder then I advised them my lawyer will be calling them for harrassment.

Calls once or twice a day. No message left.

i get calls from 425.354.1563 about 10-15 a day, starting at 7:30 a.m. for a few months now.  i have no idea who they are calling for.  it's a name i can't understand.  i've followed the "it's me" prompt & told the person (who was actually quite nice) that i had no idea who they were looking for but obviously had the wrong number.  she said they'd remove my number.  well, that was 4 days ago & NOW i'm getting even MORE calls from them.  i block them on call blocker, then they use another number with the same song & dance.  this harrassment has got to be illegal.

Company has been calling for about a month.  I answered the phone last night.  A man asked for someone I don't know, he said ok and hung up.  Today I had an automated call and I called the number back (888) 745-9329 and again explained that they had the wrong number. The woman told me "She didn't need to hear my sad story", asked for my telephone number and hung up on me.

Those morons have been calling for about a month, and asking for someone that does not live here.

Once it was actually a person calling and I told them they had the wrong number; but typically it is a machine that makes you either choose 1 (if you are the person they are asking for) or 2 (if you need a minute to go get the other person).

So of course the only true options were to hang up and allow them to keep calling or pick 1 and tell them to leave you alone.

Just started receiving calls tonight from this number. I have relatives that I have not spoke to in years from that area and thought maybe someone was trying to reach me about family. That is how i stumbled across this message board trying to backward search the number. Now that I have read some of these postings I won't EVER answer that call.

Got a call from this number today - the name they're asking about is *nothing* like our name.

I'll be contacting the Wisconsin Attorney General's office about this. ;)

425-354-1563 called my number repeatedly for about 2 months, anytime of day or night. Sometimes even in the early morning hours. When I would answer I would always be hung up on. Finally, I got the number 888-745-9663 from the recorded voice and I immediately called. After 2 rings, a very nice man answered and assisted me by taking me off of the call list with no hesitation. I had recently changed my number and he informed me that sometimes the calls carry over to the new number's carrier. He was very sorry for my inconvenience as well.

If you are being bothered by this number, CALL 888-745-9663 and it will stop.

This is a harrassement call. I owe noone money.I am 74 years of age and they ask for a perswon who does not live here, ultimately getting nastier as the conversation polongs.
