- Tony Duhon replies to MariaMine too!
- TheKnowerseekerI just filed a complaint on this number's ass. You can go here to do so, and because it's a robo-call, you do not have to even be on the national do-not-call registry. https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
- Caller: "Card Services"
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TheKnowerseeker replies to TarPaw88Good. I just reported him too.
- PwrightCaller ID "Phone" No one there.
- Caller: Phone
- haloIf you listen to the guy calling, he pretends to be some company trying to help with debt, and finally gets to the real reason for the call and that is to get a credit card number from you along with some other information.
- Caller: scammer
- susie replies to Jan AlfordGot the same call. Normally do not pick them up but thought maybe I could talk to someone and get my name off of the list. Told me to press 1 to talk to somebody if I owed 3,000 dollars on my credit cards . I could get a lower rate. Did not talk to anyone since I don't have any balance. Seems like being on the DO NOT CALL LIST does not do any good. We get these kind of calls every day 2 or 3 times. Also my husband gets them on his cell phone.
- sophCell just rang with this number. As I generally tend to do with any number I do not recognize, especially if the area code is unfamiliar to me, I hit the ignore button on my phone. Then I Googled the number, which led me here. Sounds like the same old same old. Glad I ignore these calls. We have been, thankfully, out of debt for years now, so don't need to reduce that. Hard to reduce $0 debt. We haven't even had a credit card in years, so no need for a lower interest rate on one. Once when I answered one of these type calls I asked how it was they were going to lower my interest rate on a credit card that no one in this family even has? Pretty much shut 'em up. For then. But of course they'll keep calling. And I'll keep hitting that ignore button. Easy peasy.
- Caller: No Name
- NoOnce again, "important message from credit card services, yadda yadda." The same old spam-scam phone call. I've gotten at least one of these calls every day or two for about four years. Once they start calling you, unless you intend to change your phone number, get used to it. There is no stopping them. They don't care about the law. They keep changing phone numbers, spoofing phone lines around the country, so it always looks like different sources, but it's not, it's always "credit card services," running the same scam. They don't care about the do not call list. They operate with complete immunity from the law, because they know nobody at any level of law enforcement has any intention of lifting a finger to help us.
So instead, hit 1 every time they call. Waste their money, waste their time. I just got on the phone with one today and read him some junk email. He called me gay and hung up. Last time, I talked about what my farts smell like. He hung up. They always hang up. Next time I'm going to talk about slow boats to China. Whatever I can do to rob their scam of its profit margin.- Caller: credit card services

- Call type: Telemarketer
- MarkoGot a call today and pressed one to speak with someone. He asked if I pressed 1 to learn more about reducing my debt (or interest, I don't remember) and I said sure, what company are you with? He hung up immediately. If it was a legit company, they at least would have told me their name. No doubt they are just trying to steal credit card info.
- mcgaelicgalNo message, no sound, nothing. Caller ID: "Phone".
- Caller: unknown
- karenIt's a busy day. It's my third nuisance call within 30 minutes.
- RayCaller ID says PHONE. It's another political call. There ought to be a Congress that can pass a law against these people and have it work. I thought we had laws against this kind of harrassment. Another case of a law that's on the books, that no one pays any attention to. Kind of like Obama does the Constitution.
- DI hate to say it but the DNC does nothing except to give us false hope. It's a waste of time because these people who call usually call with fake #'s that make it almost impossible to trace. This is how annoying this is...contacted my State Att. General office..was told to contact DNC/FCC..contacted both and was told after I make a complaint with them to contact my State Att. General. Just giving us all the runaround. These callers do not follow the rules, they don't care because they know they will never get caught. It is better to not answer or call back. Once they know someone will talk to them, they will call and call and call! By the time any info is found on them they have moved on to another scam. Best bet is to buy a phone with call block or change the number or just not answer. It stinks that we have to deal with this but unfortunately we are the only people who care.
- Caller: Card Services again!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TomWhy are these calls coming from the state of Washington? Doesn't that state have to follow the "do not call" rules? Is anyone in the FCC paying attention?
- Cagey replies to Josephi wish i knew how to be a crook too but i'm too scared, guess that makes me normal, right?
- DuhWow, some people who leave comments here are about as brain dead as the criminals who keep calling from these numbers claiming to lower your interest. THESE ARE SCAMMERS. They are trying to steal your personal identity. When you press a number and question them about what company they work for, they will hang up on you. If you ask them their name, they will hang up on you. If you say "remove me from your list!" They will hang up on you. They want one thing and one thing only...Your personal information. Their number keeps changing and it always either registers on the Caller ID as Washington or Oregon and it's the same bogus "This is an important message from card services" automatic message.
- Caller: Criminals
- Call type: Prank
