Got a call from this number - I've stopped answering numbers I don't recognize. No message left. Isn't 425 Microsoft country?

I just received a call. I was not at my desk. They did not leave a VM.

constant calls. begins with foghorn and offers a free cruise for answering questions. when you get to the place where they take your info to give you your cruise (or hopefully speak to a human to remove yourself from the call list) you are disconnected.

I'm guessing you're in IT too.

A call came this morning from the number 425-406-9035.  Caller ID said CONSUMER R.  Since the number was unfamiliar to me, I did not answer.  I will not answer such calls ever!!

Foghorn is the first thing i hear.  Just stopped answering.

These people call from a myriad of numbers with that stupid foghorn.  All of our rollover numbers at our company get a call at least once a day.  We've tried doing the opt out, we've reported them to the "do not call" site and it has been going on for over 6 months.  We've registered all our roll over numbers on the "do not call" site, but this is apparently a survey and they are supposedly exempt.  We can't take it anymore!

Yep, received the infamous "Foghorn" with two tickets to Nassau. The first time EVER I've heard them on an answering machine. And the number is just miles away! Would love for this to go away!

New private number but keep getting telemarket calls.

Do we blame Verizon who has sold our numbers to spam despite paying extra to not be on the list where they make money. I've had an account with Verizon for many years and all of a sudden I'm getting lots of ads and unknown calls.

OVER THIS! What happened to these companies getting fined?!? C'mon FCC, get with it!

Got a call from these criminals on October 19, 2012.   Didn't answer.  All I can say is, I hope the brakes in their car fail and that they drive off of a cliff; but they survive the crash as a muted paraplegic, and live for another 60 years as a patient in a State care facility, and no one comes to visit them.

Just got a call from this number on my cell.  No one has my cell number.  I didn't answer.

A little harsh, no?  I understand your frustration, as I am here too for the same reason, but I would never wish harm on anyone.

Yes, Microsoft's Redmond offices are in the 425 area code. So is Everett, where the gigantomungous Boeing plant is.

This number calls me almost every day starting at 0830 and all throughout the day!!!  Once in a blue moon there is a female on the line says hello and hangs up!  WTH!!  Make it stop!!!

I live in So Cal and got a call from the 425 area code number and it clicked and hung up. Not sure what kind of phones you have but I use a fairly cheap Panasonic with a basic answering machine and 3 phones with the option of adding more handsets. The cool thing about the handsets beside many other cool capabilities is you can block any number you want to. All it does is appear as a call is coming in and hangs up on it. You do not even see the number. I've found that the phones are loaded with settings etc and the call blocking works like "Magic". Pissed off at a girlfriend, telemarketers well Panasonic shuts them down so you do not even have to pick up the phone.
