Calls many times a day and says nothing.... just silence. Very aggravating for a business to have to stop what they are doing to answer the phone and there be nothing there

The same exact thing just happened to me, I keep getting calls like this from different numbers.

Recording saying government programs are available to help you get out of debt. Never say who they are. Another spam/scam call.

Annoying scam phone calls. Shut them down now!

Just got a call from them, by call I mean silence.

They called and there was silence on their end. I called the number back and reached a recording that I had reached an "opt out" number for the do not call list. I was asked to enter my phone number. I did not!

Caller ID showed "INCOMING CALL"  That was real helpful.  Spouse hung up on them.

I keep getting a call from this number too, on my cell.  Never say anything or leave a message.  I want it to stop.  
But how?

Answering machine took the call of silence. I couldn't disconnect by hanging up. Had to pull the plug on my phone. Wonder if they have a way to be using my home phone as a listening device. Caution!

Call came to my cell phone.  I did not answer and they left no message.

Was a law firm peddling personal injury lawsuits for Yaz.

Unwanted caller and message left on answering machine that said something similar to 'if you or a loved one suffers from blood clots or deep vein thrombosis,' etc. Then the message asks you to press different numbers for yes and 9 if you do not want them to call you.

I did not press any numbers---just deleted the unwanted call.

Please help to stop unwanted caller.
