unknown call from a number I don't know.

I'm in the 425 area code.  This was a recorded message saying "don't hang up, this is not a sales call..." then goes into a speech on pain medication or something like that.

Got a call few minutes ago.  Said don't hang up...not a sales call.   Hung up!

Extremely annoying calls. Nobody speaks and a couple of clicks to check when you are home. I've also receive on a daily basis the moron who says don't hang up this is not a sales call.....what ever happened to the do not call directory? These [***] should be tar and feathered and thrown in jail!

These relentless calls are from the very lowest form of pond scum called, "lawyers".  They are the same bunch of maggots that corrupt our government and have bought off the F.C.C. which is now one of their mangy lapdogs.  I don't understand how these turds make a profit from these calls.....they do profit from these violations of state and federal laws, or they wouldn't keep doing it.  It's all part of the degradation of our values and expectations.  Is anyone stupid enough to pay them cash?  The sad answer is YES.

If this is one of those calls selling pain cream or whatever, I am wondering how many different numbers they are calling from.  Got 2 calls from 310-495-9298, today.  Just minutes after not answer the 2nd call, this call comes in.  This call will make it call number 12, trying to sell some sort of pain relieve product.

I have gotten so many calls  from this number I just let it go to answering machine ...its a pity how people can get your number even tho its unlisted and harass you ... something needs to be done about this no doubt ..

The problem is that these numbers are often dialed at random using a computer. As for lists overall, people should stop to consider the companies they have done business with or the organizations they belong to. For example, the AARP privacy policy states that they reserve the right to share certain types of member info with third parties unless they are told not to.
I question how many people that agree to the policies of a given company or organization are actually giving them permission to share their information. Not everyone looks over these policies and this is something that needs to change.

These phone calls have been using UNKNOWN NAME. The calls got auto-blocked since they are using 425-406-9xxx which various web sites state is a callerid4u assigned number. There are many number ranges allegedly being using by callerid4u. If you can load up all of the number ranges in your call blocker, many phone calls will simply go away. The computer based call blockers usually allow you to block number ranges rather than just complete numbers.

These people are morons. If I've blocked the other 500 numbers selling "pain cream", why would I answer this one?

Unfortunately, that would work for only a very limited number of the calls they are making.  See my post above: they have called US TWENTY-FIVE times  from TWENTY Different numbers and only THREE of them fit the 425-406-9xxx pattern.

Only WISH it were that simple!  I BLOCK each number after researching to make sure it spam, and REPORT.  But, here I am again today!

Agreed, its PIA. Looking through your list, it is obvious they are a callerid4u customer. Here are some other callerid4u ranges:

I have presently about 120 prefixes blocked for callerid4u. Recommend doing web search for callerid4u in case they have new prefixes based on a few numbers in your post. I also block all CID containing UNKNOWN, UNAVAILABLE, ST, LOCAL, ALERT, SVC, URGENT, MED. That kills many other of the numbers in your post.
