Called the number back and they stated they were telemarketers and to hit "2" to have phone number removed from phone call list.

They call every day...says to hit #2 to be removed...when you do, you get a confirmation that your number has been removed from their call list...but obviously not...the calls keep coming!

What happened to the DO NOT CALL national list?  How are these guys getting our numbers and why aren't they being fined by the FTC?

It says that I have not updated my Google Business Listing.  I do not wish to update the listing.
The recording says "Press 9 to be removed" from the calling list.
I keep pressing '9' but continue receiving the calls.

I'm on the  national do not call list and I'm sick of having people call me to solicit!!!!!!

dont know who it is.. but they dont leave a message and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST..
so they can continue to call.. I will continue to not pick up the phone

I let the call go to my answering machine, but they left no message.

They called my cell phone and 2 minutes later dialed my desk phone at work!! No message...who are they and what do they want?

Many of these telemarketer phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.  This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

If you really want these calls to stop, as well as from hundreds of other numbers, please take a moment to report this call via an online complaint to regulators.

I just received a call from this number - 425-406-9334...luckily, I was in a meeting. When I called the number back, an automated message asked me to enter the number that I was called from and then stated I would be added to this number's "Do Not Call" list. Let's see if it works!

Yes, just another bunch of knuckleheaded clowns asking me to update my information so Google can find me. Like others who have filed reports, I have called these companies to ask to be removed but obviously they do not respond. Should be a do not call list for businesses so we can opt out of all robo calls and make it illegal for anyone to mask caller ID. But that will never happen as these companies give money to our elected officials.

They don't seem to like getting several calls with no answer either! HA! Thanks for the number!

It does absolutely NO good to complaint to State Attorney Generals, FCC, FTC, or anyone~!!!   They "KNOW" this is happening, but do NOT care.   Phone #'s that "used to be" on the do not call list are of NO value anymore as ALL #'s were released a ***long time ago***.   Telemarketers just pass your #'s around & around from person to person, office to office, company name to company name.   IF you don't give them what they want, after a while, your # is passed on to someone else to pick up where they left off.   Some of these telemarketing companies actually *purchase* a "block" of numbers from different locations that they use.   It's like a revolving door.   You "NEVER" get rid of them.  Only choice is to BLOCK the #'s, but after a while, you finally use up all your blocking spaces & their calls just keep on coming.

Do NOT answer or return "any" of their calls~!!!   When you do, they "know" they have a good working # & their calls then escalate.   Vicious cycle~!!!  

Most phones, cells anyway, have a feature that you can use to DECLINE their calls.   It cuts them off right then without an answer.   I let them call, DECLINE ALL calls that I don't know who it is, then "back-trace" the # assign a location & appropirate name, such as Seattle BS Scammer - 1, next time it's -2, then - 3 etc so that I know it's them calling.   I immediately DECLINE the call as soon as their name comes up.   I also, intentionally, did not set up a "message" box BECAUSE of this, so they can't even leave a message.   When I back-trace the #, if it's someone I want to talk to, I call them back & add their contact information, if not -- TUFF, thelemarketers will NOT be talking to me~!!!  The calls from that # usually stop fairly quickly when they can't get thru to me.  Oh yeah, another # will take that one's place, but they get the same thing all over again.  I also keep a log of each such #, note when & how many times the calls came, then purge my call log.  When no calls from a given # for a long time, I delete that number from my address book, but I do keep the call record should I need to refer to it again & I don't give them opportunity to leave a message either.   I list the calls under what state they came from.   Heck, there's even a bunch of them from INDIA who has US cell #'s to make telemarketing calls from.  I don't know how they got them, but they did.   They're listed in address book as "Indian Telemarket BS'ers - 1, - 2, - 3 etc.  I DECLINE their calls & cut them off too.    hahahaha -- they can't get thru to me.  They can't "make" me answer their calls nor return any of them either.   Can you imagine how irritating that is for them when they can't "ever" get thru to me???   hahahaha -- 2 can play the harrassing annoying game~!!!  

You just confirmed yourself as a valid number, the calls will not stop.

Talked to someone (not Paul) who apologized, took my info, gave me a case # and said he will take my # off their list. Will see if that works, I hope so!    I am so sick of telemarketer calls - if our government would prosecute the offenders and actually charge them the threatened $11,000 fine, could pay off the national debt. LOL

called my business cell a couple times today...no message left.
I work with clients and have to answer most calls, but I have recogznied several area codes that are "google" scam calls...so let those go to my voicemail.

The government doesn't do anything because they get bribes (I mean campaign contributions) from these folks. That's why the DNC list has no teeth. Write your legislators and let them know you've had it. You want robo calls and telemarketing calls stopped unless you SIGN UP FOR THEM. PERIOD. And make sure you don't vote for anyone whose taken money from these and other big businesses.

Why doesn't this list include robo calls as a type? They're supposed to be illegal no matter what.

The do not call list does work but 1.) It takes 30 days from the day you sign up to be removed. 2.) If you sign up for anything on the Internet and give out your phone number you have to sign up for the Do Not call list again, and again it takes 30 days to process. 3.) Non profit organizations are exempt from this If they are fundraising 4.) Or if you have an established business relationship with a company they may also call you irregardless of the dnc list.
