they have called 5 time and every time i answer i hear silence.. they hear me say our company 's name but thats it. beware

Have been calling our office at least 3-4 times a week.
Caller ID says "cash advance"
I don't answer unknown numbers - at home or office and do appreciate posters warning us!!

425-406-9412 - Has been calling our business for days now, with the calls starting well before we even open. The calls begin around 4AM and occur ever 49 minutes for the next 6 hours. It's clearly an illegal robodialer/robocaller. The machines spiel goes "Hi, it's Melissa calling, and after doing some research your business my qualify for a small business loan, blah blah blah". Caller ID shows up as CASH ADVANCE. Reporting the harassing calls directly to the FCC.gov website, as well as to the Seattle AG's Office.

Really annoying....

913-529-2653 CALLED. Said he was from BBB.  Called back said he was from Homeadvisor internet co, seemed scammy.

we receive call at all time of day even after 9:00pm. I have told this company several times to stop calling my number. They tell me that they will remove my number and yet they continue to call.

Gov needs to do more and maybe the phone co`s.

Love this site!  Put in the ringing number and found all this.  Promptly unplugged the answering machine and let it ring.  Too bad the phone companies are more interested in profit than their customers.  Robo calls like this should not even be allowed!

I agree with you 100%.  Robo calls should not be allowed to either private homes or businesses.  THEY ARE SO VERY ANNOYING!  We have a special extension where all the "junk" calls are sent and a list of over 600 numbers (in numerical order with Area Codes) for DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK.
Isn't it sad that calls like this cannot be stopped? THIS NUMBER MADE THE LIST!!!!!!!

425-406-9412. A robot named "Melissa" offering me a loan up to $500,000. I hung up the phone, waited 10 seconds, picked up the phone again, and it was still there. I did this four times, and each time it was still there, in fact I heard it finish its spiel then start all over from the beginning again. (I have a landline.) I hung up and waited 30 seconds and it was finally gone. How in the &%#$ can they keep going so long after I hang up? That's just wrong.

Yep, called me too. I sometimes get 4 or 5 of these loan scam calls per day from different numbers.
Probably the old "advance fee loan scam". Google it.
You pay a bunch of fees up front to process a loan that never happens.
