this and consumer svcs with rachel or some other dumb recording calls everyday
maybe it is time to switch telephone providers with one that filters this crap out,
we have that option here and at&t isn't stopping  spoofed calls, when they could.

Caller ID said TEST, then it had 1 ring with long pause and hang up. Never answer these kind of calls.

When I answered there was a long pause,  a beep, and then a recorded message said,  "Goodbye."

Threatened me with some law suit

Called with spoofed #.  Said that his name was Alex and he was with Microsoft and they had detected problem with my computer.  Needed to access my machine.  When I told him I was not a Microsoft user he unloaded on me with a foreign accent, sounded Indian or at least something like it.  He was not a happy camper.

Same thing with me

What I love about these posts is the selective memory from when your guy was in office. That never seems to count. May I suggest a regiment of herbal teas to improve memory? Then you & your short attention span can get back to talking about phone calls - ONLY.

These scammers have been calling me from all different phone numbers all over the world.  As soon as I tell them I know this is a scam they hang up.

Yankee check your facts before calling people   a lier.  Every single conservative talking point is an out right lie, backed up with facts.

WOW So some guy named Allen calling from over sea's telling me that he is from Windows.. He claims he got a report saying there is a problem with my computer.. So I told him thats impossible that I don't even own a computer.. They've called before

Guy named "Alex" (yeah..right!) called about an error report..I played  along for about 10 minutes with him!!..hug up "by accident" and doesn't he call right back?!..played along for another few minutes...pretended to be following his direction..but told him I didn't see any errors..he kept re-directing me, getting more frustrated....after a while....I told him.."hey! you did it! my computers all cleared!" and hung up LOL!!!

Same here. This moron called saying he is computer support. Don't engage in conversation with him.

I'm sure since there are more complaints for this number than the others I've gotten it's safe to say it was a scam. I can never answer them since I'm at work when they call...so all I get is missed messages on my cell-phone. .. I wish their was a solution to stop these calls...Or that Verizon would do something about it.

i agree enough with the politics r or d 90 percent are just politicians who will say one thing and do another and if bush wasnt such a bonehead the r,s would have done better

He called about seven times this week on my personal phone as well as on my cell and house phone. Told me there is something wrong with my windows computer. The first few times I said I have a MAC and he hung up. The caller spoke with a heavy and thick Indian accent. Another time I said there is nothing wrong with my computers and hang up. The third time I spoke to him in German.... so he hang up. The game went on. Today he called three times and during the last call I blew up on him and told him if he calls one more time I will report the number. Now I am having a whistle  next to my phone if he has the nerve to call me again I will blow that thing as hard as I can. That will give him something to remember.

Just received call.  They said my computer had cookies that were bad and it wasn't a virus.  I said I don't own a computer, how is this happening.  He said oh, sir let me tell you.....click he hung up..

Same guy called me....told him I don't own computer....

Got a call from this # @ dinner time, which is the WRONG time to bother me!  A guy with an Indian accent said he was from Microsoft & he needed to get on my computer, so I told him I WORK for Microsoft & that I'd like to get on HIS computer!  Needless to say he hung up right away!!!
