They are checking the line for something - to commit further fraud

They've called my cell for the last couple of days & I don't know who they are so I don't pick up.  
Stop  IT!!!

No company name, I just see phone # on my caller ID.  Phone rings a couple of times, then nothing.
I too think the Do Not Call List is not really doing anything.  Get lots of calls that should not be getting through to me.

Same crap from TFZ.  the more  they use they waste  time on the phones I'm going to buy phone company stock . If I don't recognize the name or number I just let my phone ring out until the answering machine picks up. They don't leave a message but it still cost them  money . So screw them. If it's a bill collector big deal . I owe EVERYBODY money . If their worried about getting paid , I'm not worried about paying them. Doesn't make sense for the two of us to worry over the same bill, right ? They'll get paid sooner or later . And with NOBAMA in office it'll probably be later . lol

I got the same call about HAFA and my "upside down house" and press 9 to be added to the do not call list...bla bla bla  at my work number.

OK people...damn , how many times does this have to be explained?....the phone number that you see on caller ID means nothing now, with caller ID spoofing that can be done now that only applies to honest companys or people doing business in the USA, However, there are call centers that work all over the world, that spoof or FAKE the caller ID signal that is sent out, hell they could make it say it was coming from the White House, and even have that REAL phone number for the White House displayed....so , why in the hell would they care if you are on the do not call list?.....they are already breaking the law, AND running a scam off SOMEONE ELSES phone number that is being displayed.....get a brain cell and get call blocking and BLOCK that last incoming call..........very simple.....

They called me too. Beware of ppl like this. They keep calling and use up your
cell phone minutes.

Billy Bob-my carrier doesn't allow me to block individual numbers. In order to block this number, I'd have to block all of my incoming calls. Other carriers might have the same policy.

They have called me at least five times in the last four days.  They say my house has been foreclosed upon - lol.  We own two homes and my husband is so cautious of money it's the only debt we have. He watches our credit report like most men watch the World Series.  The second call I pressed the number to take us off the list. The last time I pressed the number that we did need help. As soon as they asked if I was foreclosed on and I said, "No", they hung up.  I started getting the same thing at the same time from another number: 6032143565.  Maybe next time I'll just play along. Wish I had a real enemy who I could give their info and say it was a better phone number to call me!  Anyone know the number of death row?

I been getting calls from this number and other out of state numbers which I have no idea nor do I know anyone who lives there. For example the number 206-214-5578. I would like to have a stop to it as it is my cell phone number and I don't want to receive unwanted calls
