Robo call from scam artists. I called them back with a blocked number and the recording said if you want to be taken off their list press 1. I pressed 1 and it said allow 72 hours for your number to be removed. How the hell does it know what my number is if I blocked it? It just proves out it's a scam operation and the request for number removal only helps them determine if they've reached a legit number.

Calling from "Merchant Accnt" about my CC processing terminal. Who knew I had one, and ran a business? News to me! These idiots don't even know who they are calling...what morons.

Since there are a lot of customers who are getting frustrated with these obnoxious debt collection scam calls, their email address is spoof@paypal.com.  TELL THESE COMPANIES THAT THESE DEBT COLLECTORS WHO'VE BEEN CONTACTING YOU THAT THEY'RE OUT OF LINE AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

No, DON'T call them back. Did you even read any of the posts that appear before yours? At least one person said she asked to be taken off the list and she keeps getting calls. Why is that?

It's because these crooks don't care what you tell them; they'll just keep trying to scam you.

Also, calling any unknown number back is a sure way to get your phone number on their "live" list, meaning they know there is a curious (probably gullible) person there and they will continue to call, or worse: sell your number to other scammers.

Pretty upset to get the Robo Calls from (425) 678-9965.

I'm sure it's been over 20 calls now and maybe first 10 times I requested to take off call list with no success.
I either hang up or press 2 to get off list since this began.

Any way I can seek some sort of compensation for wasting the precious time I have left in this life?

Any way to shut them down and make sure they stop stealing the priceless time from people?

"Merchant Account" recording call to announce our Credit Card Terminal is missing an important Update, but when asked they had no information about our company at all.

The caller wants to sell Credit Card Terminals and Services after answering asking a lot of questions.

Google listing needs to be updated.  I said I was hoping someone would call to update my google listing and explained how I am making a huge investment to market my business in just such a manner.  Jeff on the other end of phone was slobbering to a point he could hardly mouth words.  Jeff very kindly explained the plan, payment, all the goodies.  But then I could not remember where my credit card was, so I looked for it.  Finally found it but couldn't remember where I had left my glasses so I could see the number.  Finally found my glasses so when Jeff heard that he was really happy!  So I told Jeff I could see the menu now.  I would take the large pepperoni and mushroom thin crust.  Jeff hung up and I never did get the pizza.

Caller: GOOGLE       <------   "this part I am not sure of"      I think it is so funny what he did...

We've had the entire 425 area code blocked for over 2 years.
They can call from any number - but if they call from the 425 - BLOCKED!
Don't answer unknown calls.
Don't call them back.
Block if you can.

People no company name in caller ID says it all!  For God sake be careful people I demand they publish their Company name!!!!!! who are you if you are a honest and law bidding company publish your name and do it now I order you publish your company name and what bank are you working with Ie Wells fargo, citi who who and why do you harass our companies who's name you got of a lead list so we can black ball you huh huh? why are you hiding your identity huh huh what is your company

Yes they asked my phone number that I was calling from and the name of the business and hung up.

Phishing/scamming robo-caller, just like all the above posts say. Sure wish we could make it stop.
