Very rude individual calling himself Mathew demanding phone numbers of residents at our home address.  No company name specified.

All I know, is this guy works for a collections agency. Yes I agree he is rather rude. When I asked about his call (for someone I know) he said it was against the law to tell me and hung up.

A male from this number called and when I answered, he read my Social Security number to me and asked me to confirm my name. When I asked him who he is, he stated his name is Mathew and he is a debt collector. He also stated he needed to confirm my S.S. # before he went any further.

Does anyone know what company he works for? Is he really a debt collector?

This guy calls himself Mathew Collette, and has called here a couple of times, being very abusive and threatening. Bottom line,this guy is a bottom feeding debt collector and you'll waste your time even trying to talk with him. Recorded his rants, including evening threatening to have me arrested, cussing at me etc. and turned it over to my attorney. He said he would forward it to the Washington Star Atty, since this guy operates out of the Puget Sound area and for me to follow up with a complaint as well. Don't get sucked in, this guy is a crook and wouldn't know what the Fair Debt Collection Act was if he had to read it from a card. A total loser. Beware. Also reported this guy to RipOffReport.com

i have been getting calls from this number even to my work number which is very unusual as it is a private govvt number. The bbb just reported this type of theft of private information and is asking us to report it to them to and the Federal Trade Commission (ALTHOUGH the FTC site is extremely user unfriendly and it takes forever to lodge a complaint with them)

Got a call from this very annoying moron. Don't call him back - save your mental energy, but rather blacklist the number. Most phone service providers offer some kind of service to prevent schmucks like this Mathew from harassing you. T-mobile has something called "Family Allowance". The service allows you to block up to 10 numbers per line and does cost $4.99 a month. Check out other providers. Good luck!

You Silly people, why don't you just take care of business. Start by resolving you're financial responsibility! I know you are just too scared. Why else would you be wondering who's calling from this number? Just remember, if you would have taken care of business like good boys and girls you would not have this issue now would you?
