I live in Utah and know of the company that this is.  It is a legitimate company called Vision Communications in Richfield, Utah.  They are hired by various companies to do surveys for them (and they will honor any incentives mentioned).  Often times the companies that hire them ask that they do not leave a message.  This particular company often gets "over flow" work from a company in Logan, UT.  This company is much better run and respects people's wishes much better than the company they hire for their overflow work.  As others on here have said, it is legal to call doing surveys, even for those on the DNC list.  This website will give you an 800 number or an email address you can contact with your phone number they are calling and they will remove it for you.  That will only remove the phone number you give them however.

I get an average of 3 calls per day from this number for the past 3 months at least. Since I don't pick up I don't know who they are. They always go to my voicemail and leave nothing in the message.
This appears to be a prank trying to fill my voicemail.

This number came up on my Caller ID last night, but I was out.  The Caller ID identifies this number as belonging to Info Alliance.  I did some Googling and found their Website

I've been getting these messages and calls.  INFO ALLIANCE I cannot believe that I'll get a free laptop and service.................Hmmmm, this laptop is getting long in the tooth, so........what's the catch?  When something sounds too good to be true, chances are..................IT IS!

This company violates the do-not-call registry.

This company pretended to be doing a survey on architectural licensing, spoofing a real survey being done by the National Council Of Architectural Registration Boards.  They called at dinnertime and I hung up on  them.  They introduced themselves as "Oxbridge Associates" although there is no company by that name in Utah at the 435 area code.  They probably have more than one name, including Vision Research, Vision Communications, and possibly InfoAlliance.

I have been getting calls twice a day for three weeks now. 830 am and 830 pm on the dot. no message have not picked up the call. No messages left. I just want whom ever it is to stop calling!

No company is legit if you've told them several times you are not interested and they are STILL ignorant enough to keep calling you. They've called on Sundays and do not say anything when you answer. They've called 3,4,5 times one right after the other and do not answer. Legit? Legitably stupid!

Here's the answer to all our prayers.  Telemarketers almost exclusively use "autodialers" to make their calls.  One out of a thousand will have live reps doing the dialing.  When these dialers connect (you answer the phone) they listen for any "tones" generated.  If no "tones" are detected they then transfer the call to one of the reps in a call center.  "IF" the autodialer hears the 3 beeps from dialing a "DISCONNECTED" number, the number that was just dialed is automatically "REMOVED" from their list.  Below is a link that has this "tone" plus the verbal message.  You DO NOT need the verbal message.  Download or copy the "DISCONNECTED" MP3 or WAV file to your desktop.  Create or change the greeting you have when someone calls you and you're not available.  At the VERY BEGINNING of your message place the 3 tones (NOT THE VOICE MESSAGE) then continue with your usual or normal greeting.  The autodialer will hear the tones and BINGO, your number will be removed since they think it's a disconnected number.  DONE.  In a few weeks you will be removed from all the lists.  Of course you may have to explain the tones to the callers you DO want to speak to but that's a small tradeoff.  Pass this info on to anyone you know that gets junk calls or even help post this on these websites.  GET RID OF JUNK / SPAM CALLS.

I was just called by this number and told they wanted to have me go thru a survey on tax preparation. The girl asked if the number they called was a cell number and if I just used a cell phone or if I had a home phone as well. I answered that it was my cell and that I had a home phone as well. I then asked how she got my number. She said it was randomly selected from their system and then she said that she didn't have any more questions for me, and that was it.

This caller goes by several fake names including "Vision Communications," "KnowledgePanel" and "Info Alliance." When a company changes its name as often as underwear something is usually fishy and fraudulent.

This number called 4 times in a row and when I finally answered with our business name, they would not say a word. Ridiculous. Obivously, we don't want to talk to you. Not necessary to call 4 times in a row.

I got the repeating calls from number 435-893-0167 aroubd 6:30 PM and my caller ID still have it.
May we ask a lawyer to deal with this kind of disturbance?
