Suspect Scam

Called saying they work with Rogers & wanted to get back their old customers (I used to be with Rogers, so I'm wondering if Rogers sold my information to a 3rd party, they knew what city I lived in).

missed call, no message, called back, got "this number is not in service"

This number calls me once a day every weekday, because I was a Rogers customer for 19 years and switched a year ago. I blocked it but it still shows on my call list every day. Like, give it up folks. I'm not coming back.

Blocking, unlike telling them, conveys no message other than you are not answering your phone.

This is a scam call
They want your personal information

Keeps calling and not leaving messages

This number keeps calling several time a week (today is Wed and this week they have called me 4 time so far). Red flags:
1. Not legitimate telemarketer because of DNC list (they are breaking federal law if they are telemarketers)
2. Inconsistent: sometimes no response when call is answered. Sometimes speak Chinese, sometimes they are from Rogers offering "great" deal, I do not have Rogers service
My own conclusion: 100% scam, or best case harassment.

This is a legit number for customer retention for Rogers. I'm receiving calls from them now because I left Rogers mobile for Koodo just over a year ago. If your receiving calls from this number and you've left Rogers Mobile withing the last year or so and ported your number, it's legit.
