Electric provider scam?

I just got one too. Columbus Ohio

I said hello 3 times and nobody responded.

Same here.... now BLOCKED!

i.d says "ohio caller". did not leave message.

robo call. Don't bother answering

Robo call about claiming 20% discount on energy bills. "Please press 5 now to speak to an agent." No option to opt out of calls.

caller i.d. says "Ohio Caller" ... no message left ... mid-afternoon ... spam

I called number back the number has been disconnected. I tried it 3 times and it said number been disconnected the scammer probably got caught I hope so because ever since I got this number had old number disconnected I get calls from relaitives of a Mary Henderson the relatives do not know she got rid of this number i also got calls from a cargiver for her and told them she doesn't have this number. It is ashame you can not get a number anymore that has never been used because of all the cell phones and everything you will never be able to get a phone number again that no one has ever had. Too many people with too many cell phones that is what the problem is .

Whoever called you spoofed the number.  They weren't "caught".  Caller ID spoofing, look it up.  As to your new number:

New Number
All phone numbers are recycled.  No one gets rid of a number without a good reason since it a pain in the butt to notify everyone.  So now you know why the former owners got rid of that number.

Called no voice just hangs up

Columbus, OH. Called cell, didn't answer, left no msg. Obvious spammer.

Call at 4:16PM, no msg, I'D only says Ohio Caller. I'm getting 5-7 scam/spam calls a week now, so after verifying it's now blocked

440 is NOT Columbus Ohio.  Fraud
