This is a spam #. Claims it's a Customer service number raising money for many different charities!  Block! Phone indicated call came from Oberlin, Ohio.

Got 2 calls in 2 days.  Did not leave a message.

What possible thought process suggested that we called you,  your caller reads your posts here, or your post will effectively stop calls to you?

(440)574-0016 called me and our contact made me suspicious. If you get a call from this number, hang up--do not confirm your name! There is a new strategy scammers and identity thieves have adopted--someone calls, and asks if they are speaking Mr./Ms. ______ then says they're from a fictious charity. The person I spoke with wouldn't tell me what charity they were calling from or their name upon multiple times asked...they finally gave a first name only and after a long pause the name of their organization. Either a phishing tactic or a very rudely staffed charity.

Yes Denise.  I have gotten several calls from this number.  I no longer answer any calls from numbers I don't recognize. Jerks.

Knew better but answered the phone because I'm expecting a call from a supplier & not sure of their number.  The caller asked for Margaret, which I'm not, and then said "well, since I have you on the phone..." - soliciting for charity.  I hung up on her (said her name was Gabby), so not sure of the details of the charity.  Not interested.

I didn't recognize number so let it go to voicemail.  No message left.

i also received a call from this person. same techniques. i just dont understand why law enforcement does not get involved with this. wha has to happen? i am paying a lot of money in taxes and i would think that with a web site like this, police would contact these people and inquire about their agenda. snip this in the bud. i go to a successful business everyday and put in my 8 hours. i dont see why we cant make these people stop stealing from innocent people. sooner or later they will learn.
