- ShariD| 1 replyGot a phone call from this number claiming that IRS is filing a lawsuit against me!! I am currently dealing with a situation that might generate this sort of phone call, so I called them back.
They have very heavy Indian type (India not Native American of course) accents and it sounds like a boiler room environment where prank calls come from. So I requested, as I am allowed to by law, to be connected to the United States and someone who speaks English. They refused. I got suspicious, especially when they could not understand me and I could not understand them. Finally, after several minutes of frustration, they actually hung up on me! I called back, and got someone else who is the same thing, and asked the same questions. I refused to start answering their questions, and they hung up on me again! Two more tries to the same number, and same end - only when I told the lady this time that there was so much background noise I couldn't understand them, she said "I'll call you back tomorrow!" And then she hung up! Without even knowing who I was. So, I'm convinced. And I came to do some research about this number, and here I am. Reporting a scam!!!! Do not call them back and do not give them any information if you do!!- Caller: IRS???
- Call type: Debt collector

- Forever youngReceived a call, Christina said she was an IRS agent. Also spoke with Eric, both heavy accent. They said I owed money from 2008 to 2012 in the amount of $5,999 and that if I didn't pay immediately the police would arrest me and take my house and levy my accounts. I asked to speak to a manager because I couldn't understand them and they both said that was not possible. Would love to go and pay them In person.....

- Chrisafter reading googling the number and finding out it's a scam (some of you might find this funny) I called and talked to "brad" with an indian accent. He told me there was serious concern and I was being sued by the IRS, I said really? That's strange I work for the IRS and I think I'd know if I was being sued by my employer. He started asking for my badge number and my work address, I gave him a bogus address and bogus badge number, he proceded to google the information I gave him and he replied, "you don't work for the irs because you gave a non irs address" I replied " you don't work for the irs either lol" He said he worked at the main office in Washington DC. I don't know where the main irs office is but I told him that the main office was in virginia, He proceded to curse me out and hung up.
