Ambetter Sunshine Health just reported to me that this is not one of their numbers. They say this is a phishing scam to gather/steal more  Info.  I am getting. 2-3 calls a week from this number.

claims to be an insurance company named ambetter.
but who knows if it's real or not.

I believe it is a legit call.  My wife has health insurance with AmBetter, and I inadvertently forgot to make a prior month's payment.  The number they listed for the TTY does match the number on their billing statement.  And while it was a recording, they requested my wife by her proper name.  And it was on my cell phone, which I gave to them when I registered her with them.  I doubt that a scammer would call my phone and then ask for my wife.

All of my information came from the voice mail.  Apparently they called when my cell phone was not on my person.  While the main number they provided, an 844 number, did not match their billing statement information, I did not see a phone listing for general help on that.  Only an option to make payments.

"Hello this is Ambetter from Home State Health calling again for ___. We are trying to reach you again because there are a few important things we need to go over about your coverage. Please call us back 24 hours a day seven days a week. Toll free at 1-844-953-8985. Again the number is 1-844-953-8985. TTY users should call 1-877-250-6113. Thank you and have a good evening. Goodbye."

This was a recording. I would think Ambetter would have a live person calling to go over my coverage and not a recording to call some number. The call back number does not match the customer service number on the insurance card. The scary part is they knew my first and last name and that I have Ambetter insurance. I called Ambetter using the real customer service number. The woman I spoke with says she's been getting calls about this recording all day and has reported it. She even asked me if it was from "442-242-9630". She said this is likely a scam to get your information or maybe just for you to say "yes".

I get the same voicemail as those listed above. They tell me to call this number 8449538985 but I don't and won't. I

It`s just an automated recording with information about your Ambetter Policy, to make sure you are getting the information that you requested and help you understand it if you did receive it but didn`t understand it, not a scam line or phishing line. you answer the questions at the prompts with yes or no, nothing more, at least they follow up with you to make sure you are receiving the info you requested, unlike many other healthcare insurance companies who do nothing.

It is NOT Ambetter. I didn't answer the original call but I did listen to the voicemail. The recording sounds like broken up words of another recording. I called the member's services number from my Ambetter account and they said they didn't call, I didn't have any notifications, and that they reported the number.

I got the same type of message on my cell phone.  I didn't answer the unrecognized number.  The automated voicemail said that it was from Ambetter, and that they had important info for my wife.

This is Ambetter, they were calling to give me information about my policy.

It's real. It's AmBetter. If you receive a voice message, they leave a call back number.

Same deal...I'm  An actual M better customer. Scary times we live in period I'm blocking all of them coming from various numbers also.

Probably from the actual Ambetter from Arizona Complete Health.  The same company that sends out enrollment material THREE to FIVE times every Jan/Feb -- all redundant.   This call is the same info in the material they mailed us.  This may be for people that cannot read.   The next time they call I will block them.

this number texeted me " Section 8 Housing, rent check unclaimed. I know nothing about Section 8. My home is paid for.  This is fraud. it put website kklhh3j3o4.6hfgf.me with my first name. Monday March 4 at 12:06p.m.

Called my registered phone on March 7 at 6:47 PM and March 12 at 12:46 PM. Both IDs came up as Ambetter Health. I never requested any information from Ambetter Health. Why are they calling me? Seeing someone saying they asked for someone unknown. Ambetter customer service doesn't recognize the number saying it's phishing. How are these people getting Ambetter enrolled customers? ODD!

This has been confirmed to be a scam through ambetter please do not continue to pursue or give any information!

Just received this call-but have received same call frequently using this and other numbers. States, "Hi, this is Amber from Social Security..."  Message is always broken up, missing syllables. Always same tone. Have blocked this and other numbers but "Amber" continues to call.
