SCAM- Claims to be Ambetter Insurance, knows you by name. I called Ambetter direct and they confirmed that is is a fake/scam call. DO NOT call back to the number they leave, say YES, or give them any information.

They call & leave a message that they have important information about my account, stating that they are Ambetter Home State Health. The number on caller id is 442-242-9630.
I get this 3-4 times every week, yes I have Ambetter so I called the customer service # on the back of my card.
The lady pulled up my account and said that everything was fine & no information was needed. She also told me that this is a scammer trying to get information from me and that do not call the # back. She also stated that she has had many customers calling regarding the same scammer number.

I genuinely believed the voicemail was from Ambetter with all this informaiton about the virus circulating and called the number back. I answered a question to the robo caller as “No” before it dawned on me that this could be a total scam. They asked if a certain person named Charles something was my primary care provider. Never had one such doctor. Could they doing anything with a recording of my voice? Yikes.

Call automated asking yes and no questions, they say they are ambetter. Seems scary to me, because some info should have already been known, I hung up.
