I received a text message threatening me with arrest charges by the FBI/Police unless I complied an assignment.  They claim to be from “Mystery Shoppers.”

I received the same message. It's a scam.

I just received one today, it is harassment.

Recieved a text about FBI and police at my door to arrest me for not doing a secret shopping  assignment that is totally bogus.

I received a message just like that saying to expect the FBI and police at my door for failing to complete a mystery shopping assignment. This is a terrible thing to use to scam people. I reported the number

(443)477- 5409 and ‭(774) 993-8290‬, been getting text messages from both of these numbers saying the same thing. Funny..no one will respond to me from either number.

expect the f.B.I / police tomorrow morning by 9.00 am if you fail to complete the assignment today and email your evaluation reports. Why are you silence with the company funds after delivered to you  via usps mail.You promise to carry out the assignment on saturday and still kept silence. Kindly avoid any form of harassment and complete the secret shopper assignment given to you asap today and email your reports and best buy cards images to evaluationreports@bestmarketmark.Com . It's so nice of the police and the FBI to let us know when they're coming to arrest us. We can have the coffee and doughnuts ready for them.

I have recieved 3 texts. threatening me abt sending reports and if not received the fbi will be at my door! i never cashed the check but after all this i decided to mail it back.

Since the check was fake, it  would have been better to take everything to the Post Office to be given to the Postal Inspectors for investigation as mail fraud.

Also, you could txt them back that THEY will be investigated by the FBI for check fraud but that probably won't bother them since they are most likely in a foreign country.

I also received a threatening text from this number that I need to comply with their instructions to email the gift cards to the number assignment and. Said the FBI is going to show up at my door at 10:00am tomorrow.

It is very obvious that person did nothing, knowing it is a scam. Only the stupidity of a scammer would come up with such a stupid idea that you could be arrested because you refused to participate .

Did the FBI show up? I rec'd the identical & gave it to my Banker.
